  1. Yeah, screw liberal states!
  2. great idea!
  3. That's all angle... That Lancer maxes out at 2.272" and I'm loading at 2.260". Ok, what's the highest bc bullets you can load in the mags that you know of?
  4. the 25-45 looks a little tight in the mag, or is that just from the angle of the photo?
  5. I'm sure they will work wonders for coyotes... but still wondering how it will do with deer.
  6. Ya , that's really Tacticool , they will sell millions they probably will sell millions to the zombie prepper crowd and then we all will be wishing we had all the damn money from inventing this ridiculous thing. lol.
  7. I'll take shooting functionality over storing functionality any day. :P
  8. In the stan I was a saw gunner, I learned to drive those bipod legs in the ground or against whatever I could to keep a more steady position to keep my shots from opening up. when they passed on my saw to someone else, I applied the same logic to my m4. with my harris bipod I mounted it backwards so when closed the legs pointed forward. with this setup I shot my m4 similar to my saw, digging in and leaning in, so that when shooting it was like shooting a pellet gun. And the legs did extend past my muzzle, but I saw no ill effect on accuracy when legs were forward. The other benefit I found to having the legs pointed forward, though this shouldn't have much affect on a bench shooter, I used a vertical grip and found with the legs pointing towards me, they got in the way of the vertical grip. Having the legs pointed forward I was able to have much more freedom with the vertical grip and other attachments I put on my rifle. To this day, any rifle I put a harris bipod on, I have the legs usually forward.
  9. Move to a better state where they don't restrict your gun rights. ;)
  10. besides, flash hiders help limit the flash to hide you better in war. that's their main reason for being. don't think any of us need that anymore. less of a flash can make follow up shots quicker in smaller calibers but with the recoil of the .308 platform you will still be recovering from the shot by the time flash has dissipated into the air. My thoughts are, unless you are pig or coyote hunting at night where limiting your flash is important for not affecting your night vision/optics, muzzle brakes are the way to go.
  11. Just remember, even though some companies advertise the best of both worlds with flash hiders and muzzle brakes, really there is only compromise. the muzzle brake part on those combo ones creates more flash and the flash part takes up space that would could be used for more baffles on the muzzle brake section. now there is nothing wrong with compromise... I am married so I do it all the time. lol. but it isn't the best of one way or the other.
  12. News Reporters: "Let's limit the details we report on with this story so in the future if it doesn't go the way of the liberals, we can make up some bullpoopy and spin it in favor of the liberal agenda."
  13. I was always happy with the tighter holes
  14. Yeah, JP Recoil Eliminator is great... plus it makes your weapon look like an alien laser gun!
  15. good to know, I'll play with the idea of doing what you did, but hate messing with things I don't build myself.
  16. http://www.shop.jeccustom.com/Quick-Brake-JEC-QB5824.htm something like this is always good if you plan on using a suppressor at times.
  17. looks good. did the tang of the knife go all the way to the end of the pummel? I would hate drilling through that. I wouldn't likes two minutes with her. lol.

  19. sweet, would love to see pics of it with the lanyard
  20. yeah, 300BLK I think is going to basically be for subsonic ammo in my eyes, where it excels.
  21. I bought one. Love it! Comfortable, good edge, great sheath. There is the area at the front that would be good for a paracord wrap or something to keep the knife in, but I have found it locks into the sheath just fine for every day use. paracord wrap over the top of it might be good for some rough hikes where you might loose your footing and fall every now and then. This is my new thing to buy for people as gifts. Won't hurt my bank account and yet people won't wonder "why the hell did he buy me this crap?"
  22. the problem is there are better wild cats out there but they don't get popular because they don't have the support of a company that leads to support of the general shooting public, along with availability.
  23. no good, no free floating rail system... yet!
  24. "In my pipe dreams, the military adopts this as the "barrel-swap" alternative, then it becomes incredibly inexpensive to market, then we all have parties in the cheap 223 that floods the market, while still waiting with outstretched arms for the manufacturers to take up the 25-45 flag and churn out inexpensive, hard-hitting, flat-shooting, low-recoiling rounds. Then I wake up and go to work." love that last line from him. that's basically my dream for all the unusual calibers I am interested in. Plus I liked the guy's name.
