For an interference press fit, stick the pin in the freezer overnight. I suggest throwing in the needle nose pliers in the freezer to. Place the part with the hole in a warm environment such as close to a baseboard heater. Because the pin is small don't touch with bare hands and move quickly. If the pin and the hole are the same size( three decimal places in inches) the pin will slip into the hole with some but not much effort( light tapping). Once the temperatures equalize on both parts it ain't going anywhere.

So the good news is I've pretty much figured out how to bring guns into the USA and back home legally . As most things gun related there are the rules and 'self interpretation ' of the rules. Example the ATF doesn't require me as a Canadian to need an invitation for a sanctioned shooting event or a hunting licence. The reality is having one or the other will make life easier at border crossing. I have an ATF number I can ask the border guard to call but reality is get a state hunting licence.It doesn't even have to be from the state I'll be visiting Washington state crossing want to only see a proper invite from sanction shooting event only so will not be crossing through Washington but through Idaho. So the good news is my permit is good for one year from date of issue. While I have to list everything I might bring in, I'm not obliged to bring in everything on my list(rifles,shotguns and pistols are good to go but no SBR). Same with ammo but also have to list caliber,brands separately.Example can't simply say 12ga but list each brand and specific amount. Still waiting to get a couple rulings( I want written confirmation) Can I bring back my used brass? also protocol for a lower with multiple uppers(the lower is the only registered part) So need to figure out which state has the least hoops for out of state hunting licence and submit that and ATF paperwork beginning of new year Still trying to figure a way to legally keep firearms in the USA if things go sideways New Zealand style. So far post election the anti gun thing isn't the government's priority.

You should get a lever action and matching wheel gun in same caliber and finish it off with matching rifle scabbard and holster

With this crowd being shady is probably an asset. Somehow I find myself with a bunch of 6.5 Grendel parts for a build(just need time) to make it more interesting the Grendel is pretty much non-existent up here, so reloading is the only way after special ordering both brass and bullets.

SO HE ONCE AGAIN LOUDLY ORDERS DRINKS FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THE GUY WEARING THE TRUMP HAT. AS BEFORE, THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO BOTHER THE TRUMP GUY. HE JUST CONTINUES TO SMILE AND AGAIN YELLS, "THANK YOU!" SO THE CNN GUY AGAIN LOUDLY ORDERS DRINKS FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THE TRUMP GUY. AND AGAIN THE TRUMP GUY JUST SMILES AND YELLS BACK, "THANK YOU!" AT THAT POINT THE AGGRAVATED CNN REPORTER ASKS THE BARTENDER, "WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH THAT TRUMP SUPPORTER? I'VE ORDERED THREE ROUNDS OF DRINKS FOR EVERYONE IN THE BAR BUT HIM AND ALL THE SILLY ASS DOES IS SMILE AND THANK ME. IS HE NUTS?" "NOPE," REPLIES THE BARTENDER. "HE OWNS THE PLACE."
