  1. Nice, glad your finding toys to buy with all the hours you've been working.
  2. If you're ever in the neighborhood we'll go shooting, unfortunately they aren't allowed in to the USA

    My last Elk

If the border and covid wasn't such an issue I'd be telling work I'm off to pack elk out of the bush. You might want to consider 'rabbit hunting'... just saying Happy hunting brother may the days be sunny and your teepee warm
  4. Have you ever tried the wire cutter? I picked up a T97( civilian version of T95) and has an aftermarket flattop, 18.6" barrel
  5. I was wondering when I saw micmac in your name. Prices have started to climb in the last 2 years up here on the Russian stuff as the supply coming in has pretty much dried up. I got lucky and picked up stuff at a good time. In the last 6 years my Russian stuff has tripled in value( wish my investments did half as well)
  6. Love the T2 Here's another less common M14 IDF stock In action A close up
  7. I really like that back lip for tape measures. I have a piece of angle with 6 tape measures on it, I'm really bad for putting down a tape measure and it 'disappears' When I ' run out' of tape measures that's my cue to stop and clean up/put stuff away.
  8. Not me that was the parent's , my bathroom the fancy soap is the mechanic's soap that leaves your hands with a nice citrus smell
  9. I have a feeling that @micmacman has got many more layers to peel back and make as drool.
  10. Nice I'm jealous as AKs and their variations are prohibited up here now so can't add to one to my Russian stuff( have Mosin, regular & sniper, SVT40 and SKSs)
  11. Probably has another bench were the work takes place and this is his bench that company sees. Kinda like having the fancy soaps in the guest bathroom that we were not allowed to touch
  12. I grabbed it for the Grendel, stuff is rare up here.
  13. Back in July I placed an order for a couple pounds of Accurate 2520... got an email it just shipped I'd forgotten about that order
  14. Reads like a haiku rez style... In all fairness rehab facilities promote becoming a quitter

  18. 3-4 years ago you could get an SKS and case of ammo( 1440 crate) for CAN$500, these days. Now days prices for SKS range from $250 to $500 depending on year and model. Options if you rebarrel, original bolt/extractor, same overall case length 1. .223 Winchester Super Short Magnum 2. .243 Winchester Super Short Magnum 3. .264-25 WSSM 4. .300 Olympic Super Short Magnum 5. .338 AR Short Magnum (ARSM™) 6. .358 BFG (1.625") 7. .458 B&M Super Short 8. .460 Alliance 9. .475 B&M Super Short 10. .50 B&M Super Short 11. .50 Liles 12. .500 Auto Max 13. .500 BAAR If you also modify/rework or replace bolt/extractor there are 368 options. If there is another caliber you're considering ask and i'll check the list, 368 choices are to long to list. The 7.62x39mm is doable if bolt /extractor modified below .25WSSM vs 7.62x39mm case dimension
  19. A SKS with surplus ammo and it's pizza box accurate. A CZ527 will be a decent shooter and of course if you want to push the limits https://rifleshooter.com/2016/03/building-a-remington-700-in-7-62x39-mm-russian/
  20. Fun was had, lessons were learned so sound like an overall success

  22. He does have a way with descriptive phrases.
  23. If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, Runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast, shoots a big bullet, and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil, it's cool. But if it's a ball, made out of leather or inflated with air, that's hit with a bat, raquet, or club, used in a game played on a course, green, or court by yuppies, Democrats, or liberals - screw it.
