  1. I get a bit jaded listening to the canned 'Christmas' music on the radio and in the stores so I want to share this in light of the season. The Killard House Special School in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland has about 200 special needs students, most of them autistic. This year for Christmas the school choir sang a version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Singing out front was Kaylee Rodgers, 10, a local student from Donaghadee.
  2. Merry Christmas to y'all and may your worst day next year be better than your best day this year

  7. Must be the world's best kept secret if it happens every day in basic training... who knew 'mortaring' your rifle was so catastrophic.

  12. I keep forgetting they can't swim until it's to late... damn canoe is tippy.
  13. Welcome, Just a couple quick notes, it's only a AR10 if it's an Armalite all others are 308ARs. Save yourself a lot of headaches buy a matching upper( a Stag in your case) to whichever lower you have. Unlike AR-15s the 308ARs do not mix and match well. There are more versions beyond Armalite and flat DPMS

  15. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION: 1. "ASSAULT WEAPON": (a) MEANS A SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLE THAT HAS THE CAPACITY TO ACCEPT A DETACHABLE MAGAZINE. So
  16. I would think twice about taking it 'cause it's likely the homeowner with wreath like that probably has more than a butter knife available.
  17. I'm more interested to know why rimfires by design end up with brittle firing pins vs centrefire rifles
  18. Tom, I got to say with the long blonde hair and the better ass your table dancing tips are going to improve which should make your pimp daddy @Matt.Cross very happy
  19. That's crazy. Did a quick check but no one seems to carry that specific round up here but for general comparison 9mm Blazer and American Eagle is running $18-21 Canadian for box of 50( cheaper when you buy 1K at a time). So far there hasn't been a run on ammo yet but it will be scarce next year as the main distributors will now be putting in the yearly/bi yearly order in a scarce market. I'll be upping my order of primers big time this weekend, then looking at a regular monthly order of material to build up the inventory.
  20. Using the trajectory of a 168-grain, .30-caliber bullet, with a ballistic coefficient (BC) of .462 and muzzle velocity of 2,681 fps, let’s examine the effects of these different cants. Our imaginary rifle will have the scope mounted 1.8 inches above the centerline of the bore. I knew that a canted scope had an effect, it was interesting to see the math and actual numbers.
