That right there may be the biggest issue with this group. We all have heard the t-post story so a camera should be an even easier target. It would suck to spend 500 bucks on a target camera to have it blown to hell first time out.

Man you guys were busy last night. I stay away for one night and a 3 pager crops up. Now I have some catching up to do.

I remember growing up and making the trek every summer to Vegas to visit grandparents. Hot as hell! It was a dry heat just meant that you ate a lot of toast because any sandwich was board stiff after 3 bites in that dry heat. We couldn’t stay inside cause there was absolutely nothing to do maybe listen to the radio. Kids played outside no matter what the weather was like. Night time was almost as bad only it was dark. Everything you touched burned you but we were outside anyway.

I suspect it will be halfway between the 50 and 100 zone. So 11/2 inches higher or there about. Your call it’s always good to bust off a few rounds. Some are just spendier (is that a word?) than others.

Are you saying that the same ammo brand, type, and load is moving it’s groups? Or are you saying each type / brand of ammo is grouping differently? The second situation is not uncommon as each load behaves differently due to powder and bullet differences resulting in speed variations etc. If the first is true I’d look for something loose on the gun (barrel/scope) or at shooting technique. Are you resting the barrel on something? Are you loading the bipod the same, same grip, same body position etc.

Depends what you want to do. 3” high at 100 yds is within minute of deer. If most of your shots are likely to be less than 50 yds I’d leave it. If you think you will be shooting closer to 100 yds then adjust it. As you described normal shooting distance I wouldn’t touch it.

Them Wilson’s are Purdy enough to use as a mantle piece. I don’t have any safe queens - just tools. I’d shoot it till I got good with it and made sure I wasn’t just lucky. Then I’d shoot it some more to show off. I don’t think it was karma some guns just work with you - maybe you got one.

In my (wet)dreams I’m able to do this kind of stuff. I know I dream weird shiit. I told the wife I had a really wild sex dream too bad she wasn’t in it- she punched me.

Yup we have a knock off of the green egg. Does good stuff, heavy as hell. Had it for about 5 years or so. I’d get another if this one fell apart. Ribs, chicken, butts, fish does it all. It grills too!

Might have to do it at night and practice them 800 yard night shots. Kill 2 birds with 1 rock. Maybe a 4:30 start time first light trigger pull so you don’t risk heat stroke. I’d go with you but the commute is a little far.
