That last one was pretty quick - didn’t make 24 hours. What’s the record for quickest ban time? Any of you guys been banned before? I’ve been warned locked from posting before for a day but never banned. These days this is the only forum I visit.

@98Z5V I use all my going of on dumbasses for work. I’m pretty calm everywhere else. Gotta watch out for those rabid monkeys! Don’t get yourself banned this place wouldn’t be the same. It would move on just like life but it would definitely be different.

Good to see it working with the heavier buffer and hopefully plenty of lube. They really do need more than their smaller brother especially during breakin.

Well you can’t post for free forever! I realize the rest of us all got our own special rate for posting so no one is the same but this place is costing me an arm and a leg along with all the shiit I bought just because of you enablers.

I was only referring to temp difference the density altitude or relative pressure obviously didn’t change for the posted test only the temp of the load. I don’t think any powder will be able to control the bullet flight changes due to those changes but if we could get at least a stable burn rate and resulting velocity stability before it gets spit out the end then the da can be better predicted for its effects.

That’s why I switched to rl 16 for powder. Supposedly very temp stable. I have not played with it much yet still trying to find a load my 260 likes but was going to switch my 243 ai over as well since I’m getting pretty severe impact swings with the load I had for it. And I’m going to use boron nitride coated bullets in it as well. I’ll keep playing with it when I get time. I don’t shoot as often as I want to and not near as often as some of you guys do. LOL!! Been down that rabbit hole before! When I was heavy into Mausers, I eventually had 130 of them, Man you have a problem. You are gonna fit in just fine here. Might as well give in right away and just build a second whole gun. You won’t be content with half a gun.

Yup that’s why I have to do another round of development and I’m going to switch it over to coated bullets like I’m developing for in the 260. lousy pics but 260 at top 243ai bolt bottom. 243ai running about 3300 FPS with 95 gr nosler bt. 260 about 2800 FPS with 140 bergers and 2850 with 123 scenar’s. I think slightly faster with 123’s and right around 2800 with the 140’s is where I’ll end up.
