I'm from the Buckeye area, I just shot my Gen2 Recon so I am stoked to learn and go shooting more.

I was finally able to get out and test fire my Gen2 Recon on New Years day. The only thing I changed was the BHO latch so that it would work with the latest generation Magpul mags. I put a Vortex 1-6x scope on it. The rifle functioned great and the scope was on right off the bat as I made no adjustments, I was able to hit a 15" plate at 150yds off hand with boring reliability I LIKE this rifle! The rifle functioned great and locked back every time on an empty mag.

I was talking to a co-worker about this and he wondered if ATFE was upset that more people were doing pistol builds as opposed filing for a SBR and the tax revenue it would generate.

I read on another forum that Adams Arms was producing a complete BCG for the G2, as of today still nothing on their website, they do however make a compatible bolt so for now that seems to be my only option available to me.

I have CMMG's Banshee in 10mm, I have red Dot on it and a light, it's my HD gun. Not sure what you had in mind when you bought it , but it's something to consider.

I have collected and used Webers for years, most of them were used and many needed some attention, either just a good cleaning to more serious work. I probably have close to thirty kettles one of which is as old as me! I love watching my Red and Blue kettles get darker when they heat up something the newer ones can't do My cooking is not Food Channel worthy but it is edible! 🤪 But nothing beats sitting outside drinking a beer and smelling the awesome smells of charcoal, wood and the food mingling together! One of my favorites (kinda like having a favorite kid) is my Master Touch kettles all are the original style with the thermostat under the handle. I have a green one also but Photobucket has the picture for now. My Platinum is my dedicated rotisserie setup, when I got it the table was cracked and everything was faded so I ordered an updated table and rattle canned the frame and now it looks brand new ! My old man.
