Mine came NiB coated.

Check this out for a simple modification that could save from frustration later. *if I had it to do over, I would’ve filled the entire channel up. There’s no reason for an open space on a .22lr. The space is for a gas tube to fit and a dedicated .22lr shouldn’t have a gas tube installed.

Their site sucks, but their parts are badass. I was one of the fools who bought the Mag Tactical magnesium receiver sets. After people started breaking them, and they went out of business, I was worried about making mine into a “real” caliber. My wife wanted an FDE rifle and I didn’t have a dedicated .22lr yet. I I have owned an old Colt conversion kit since I was a kid. It’s a good kit, but only works with Colt magazine conversion kits. Luckily I have about 10 mags for it. The CMMG kit is a copy of a Ceiner kit. There are lots of companies that make Ceiner conversions, and Taccom is one of them. The difference from a dedicated system is that the kit is missing the front end, which is usually inserted into the .223 chamber. The dedicated barrel has a .22lr chamber. I bought the ULW dedicated barrel, the .22lr bolt, and the plastic spacer (it goes in front of the buffer) from Taccom. My upper is a standard upper.

Another thing to look into, there is now a Magwell adapter that will allow you to use M&P-22 mags. Supposedly they run better than the ceiner style mags. They also let you use a standard bolt hold lever.

I went with Taccom3g when I built mine.

We had a wheelchair bound guy do the same. He rented a pistol, bought a single target and a box of ammo. He put 49 in the target... don’t forget about the mom that did in her son at the range. We kinda had one recently. The new range has a rubber backdrop. Some genius thought #9 shot from his 930 was a good idea. Six people were screaming, “STOP!” As they were pelted with cloud of lead bbs. No more shot shells allowed at that range.

Strike Industries. They don’t make EVERYTHING in blue, but they make a lot of parts. I think they are all blue anodized aluminum parts... nothing’s too expensive for your baby girl!!! i can’t wait to see what you put together. Lol

Gun Porn. Post up your pics. Let's see 'em

I was so fixated on the stock I didn’t even bother to notice that was a RPR. Don’t bother with the Magpul PRS. It’s a great stock, but weighs as much as a boat anchor. -

What jeans are you wearing?

I love my Riggs! The only thing I don’t like is that they won’t die!! I wish I had bought the carpenters style and not the cargo pocket style. I bought two pair about 5-6 years ago and they still wear well. They lasted better than my expensive tactical pants. -
We knew immediately when Tom joined... The admins received three complaints, eight people rage quit the forum, one gal got pregnant... and that was all before he confirmed his email.

I don’t know if anybody was looking at these, or interested in these. This is the gun that I carry every day. I wish it was this price when I found it. I think I spent $550 on mine. I got this email from my distributor this morning. So if you talk to your LGS he might be able to order it and only charge a few bucks over cost.

I like happy endings. I can relate this statement to multiple situations.

Great lookin stick! DT makes a badass rifle, but actually getting one takes a divine intervention.... trust me... from an insider POV... stay away from their autos for the moment. There’s a GOOD reason why you don’t see them at the range.

I’ll believe it when I see the rounds he was firing and the markings on the barrel. This was 100% intentionally done.

I wait all year for this!

Great write up

A snack compartment is a valued feature! i have a few of these combo’s. When you put it on an A5 length tube, you get more than a A1/A2 length fixed stock. I’ve always been a fan of the MFT stocks. Thanks for the add.

They have the whole MBA lineup of stocks. The “3” is just their newest model. It’s lighter and fits a carbine tube. you can also get them “naked”, but I wouldn’t consider that as a “precision” stock option.

I appreciate the intro. Here’s a 2 year late “welcome”. Hows the LAR-8 shooting? We have a few other RRA owners here. @unforgiven being one of the loudest.

It’s 2019, and time to refresh our memories on what’s out there and available. 1. Magpul PRS Gen3 the Gen3 fits a carbine OR an A2 receiver extension. So you don’t have to buy a completely new setup just for your chooce in stocks. As nice as this stock is, it is a boat anchor for weight, 2. Luth-AR MBA 3 lightweight and full of features. This is my current “go to” stock. I’m pretty sure this will fit ANY carbine style stock. 3. AB Arms Urban Sniper Stock (USS). up till recently, this was my favorite stock on the market. I own a few of the last generation models. The new generation does NOT have the spring loaded LOP adjustment. This stock is very sturdy and very lightweight. .4 XLR Tactical AR Stock Kinda new to the game. I mostly added them as an option. I have no experience so far. All aluminum construction. 5. Modular Driven Technology (MDT) another new-to-AR stock. I don’t have experience yet. They look promising though. All aluminum construction. What at am I missing out there? What else is new? Anyone have experience with the CAA stock, or know of a location to find the Ruger RPR stock for sale?

Whatever! I’ve heard you guys sleeping. A 747 could’ve landed on our camp, unloaded and reloaded, then taken off again, and none of you would’ve woken up. Flash bangs!
