I'll ask the same question today that I asked Imschur several years ago (I think he owns one)...
What the heck do you put on a side rail at THAT location?
A lot less expensive than a Tac-Com trigger... and guaranteed to be a lot more fun!
A free WARNING point for the shameless bastard that names it.... I know you reading this right now, and itching to post up!!!
Here's the first one I built... 16" Fluted bbl w/ a PWS FSC30,
I replaced the A2 Operator stock with a Magpul ASC-L, added a micro red dot, and a 9" HAVOC for the BADASS factor!!!
I have two bears in my room... they were about 225# and 300#. I'm done hunting bears. It's too much fuckin work to skin and clean them (compared to other animals). Taxidermy costs a small fortune just for a simple hide tan... and it's near impossible to talk non-hunters into sharing a bear dinner (do you have any idea how long it takes to eat an entire bear on your own!?!)
SoCal deer look like coyotes with antlers. I find myself driving further and further north each season. So far I've hunted Sonoma, Napa, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, Colusa, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Modoc, and Siskiyou counties.
I have to laugh... That BFG looks like a normal sized rifle next to you. We have to take a picture of Farkle and I holding it.... maybe at the same time?? The size comparison will be a bit different.
I have a 300Blk, eating 110-125gr rounds. I'll keep shooting it as long as the ammo stays reasonable. It's too easy to get brass and proj's.
Working on another 7.62x39 upper (going ape-shit on this build) for just all around FTW and plinking. $200 for 1,000 rounds of "Red Army" surplus ammo. Can't beat that price. I think it's even cheaper than .22lr right now
Ok, not quite... My LGS had 525 round bulk packs of .22lr for $60... That's $0.11 per round vs the $0.20 for the x39 round. Pretty damned close!
Even my ripoff LGS sells 5.7 for $22 a box (50 round boxes). That's a fair price for factory ammo. They had a full shelf.
If I were a smart man I'd be shooting 5.7x28, 17HMR, and .270... since those are the only three I ever see in stock.
I'm calling LWRCi on Monday to see if they'll sell it as a pistol. I really just want the IC receiver, but California has silly laws about the pistol being complete when sold.
I think I'll pop for their cerakote option and then dip it later. Definitely Kryptek, just deciding between Highlander and Typhon.
