  1. i have one of these and love it http://www.laruetactical.com/pelican-3200-storm-case-and-foam-custom-cut-out
  2. ok, this is my opinion and will not hold up in court <dontknow>, but i would stick with matching receiver sets, you'll get the best fit and finish and can possibly avoid some other problems. as for building vs buying because of difficulty, the tech is trying to sell you a complete gun to make some cash for his company. i don't believe the .308 is any more difficult to build once you know what works. cruise the site before you jump into anything, ask questions, figure out what you want for end use, bench gun, dmr, long range thank you gun. by then you'll be good to go. oh yeah, welcome to the biggest money pit going <thumbsup>
  3. I have a larue obr and on a good day its .375 moa all day. Just look at my new years post. Best rifle made. Ever. <thumbsup>
  4. that's a better solution imho, it'll help you keep better center balance. good find big t
  5. thanks for your service herc, i personally love the spectre. that is a badass.
  6. got me a new knife for my birthday again this year! my fiance got me (and gave it early <thumbsup> ) a tops steel eagle 111a to go with my 107d.
  7. today my fiancee and i went out and celebrated new years the best way we knew how, by putting holes in things <thumbsup>. the first pic is what we brought minus our glock 21 sidearms. it was my first time shooting my new hk usc .45acp, and it ran flawless, low recoil, smooth operating, absolutely loved it. can't wait till i get some parts for the ump conversion. next pics is 20rds from the larue @ 100yds. everytime out it impresses. we shot my gsg5 for about 200-250 rds too. i'll link some videos from you tube, edited then posted to keep them short, so all you see of my larue was the last four shots, my usc (which for whatever reason is crappy compared to the rest), and mama and her glock. happy new year guys and gals, hope as is well <thumbsup>
  8. there are 45 degree rail mounts that attach to your top rail, you can put anything on there, but an hws will definitely get your rifle off balance you may need two of these five slot http://yhm.net/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8
  9. jgun, i posted it here. http://308ar.com/forum/reloading/multiple-reloading-tables-and-data/ it's the first pdf
  10. <laughs> <lmao> i'm dying over here <munch> <lmao> <lmao>
  11. ok, there are others who can help more in depth, but, yes, shit can be f*#ked up. did you take out your trigger assembly, hammer, and inspect those parts? are the springs ok? since it wasn't striking the primer hard enough, you said, that would've been my interest cracking open the receivers. then you found what you did, and i would've been both pissed and a little relieved. now you have a source and you need to inspect. replace any parts that aren't up to snuff. since it was new/never shot, the things are super tight and need lots of lube, no joke, for at least maybe 100-200 rounds. i broke both mine in sopping wet and still lube them up before any use. if you need further help pics are going to be needed. good luck and welcome.
  12. nice, i think that's tom's girl from last night with clothes. ::) if so, and it's possible, it's been used and abused, and it's poor business practice to resell that as new without disclosure
  13. devil doc, not sure what you're saying… mega makes the ma-ten .308 receiver set. here's a link, http://megamachineshop.com/ma-ten-compatibility.php and.. http://megamachineshop.com/armscatalog.php also we have several members here who have built ma-tens, most notably, and my personal favorite, wash's black beauty http://308ar.com/forum/mega-arms/lets-see-your-ma-ten-builds/30/ '>http://308ar.com/forum/mega-arms/lets-see-your-ma-ten-builds/30/ . here's a link to the rest of the ma-ten builds http://308ar.com/forum/mega-arms/lets-see-your-ma-ten-builds/ hope it helps
  14. oh yeah buddy, that's what i'm talking about <thumbsup> . i like them quite a bit, you're sass and the ap4 too. maryland, huh, about 6-7 hrs from here, how big is your range? <laughs> <laughs> <munch>
  15. haven't shot in competition but the barrel is a start. the trigger is even better. free float hand guard. now we are getting started. oh, and not to be a stickler but there is only one ar-10, and that's an armalite. so, now that that's covered, are you allowed to run optics? what are you using? bipods? oh, yeah, welcome to the forum, hope you brought some play money <thumbsup>

  18. ok, installed both badass levers, and kns gen2 pins, last night, but will have to send the tubbs cws back because it has some gouges on the face that will hit the buffer and the tungsten insert is chipped. i contacted brownells, waiting for reply.
