  1. love my jamis. my rc was a track/ road set up. i dragged knee pucks, not fairings. miss that one. hope to get something to fill it's spot soon. nice, comfy, fast, good pic for a daily ride
  2. well i might have mentioned i had two bikes before my "d", an rc51 and an electra glide, gonna try dig up some pics, and add my pedal bikes and my daily driver, 05 silverado (snows on stock rims, summers off now)
  3. I play hockey a couple times a week, I mountain bike and hike with my dogs and fiancée. I snowboard and snowshoe in the winter, and go racing with my dad in the nicer months. Previous to my divorce a few years back I had an Electra glide and a heavily modified RC51. I hope soon to be riding again on an RC8R by ktm or an S1000rr BMW
  4. welcome and thanks for your service
  5. nice stick ridge, and nice pick in your first post. welcome
  6. the pws brakes do kill all near by bugs, but they control muzzle jump excellently. i have one on my pws mk214, and that vaporizes small rodents <lmao>
  7. Welcome
  8. sweeet
  9. sweet post robo, we made some purchases from tactical assault gear and brownells, and a few i don't know about
  10. <lmao> <laughs> <laughs> <lmao> phew, that's funny. now, i realize we can get heavy, and think that it's reasonable especially when compared to other battle rifles and such, but you can get too heavy to carry around. my larue as it sits in my safe is about 14.5- 15#'s give or take, and i would want to carry that battle style for long. my pws is just a tick under 11#'s with a loaded mag, and seems much lighter but not a feather. i am satisfied with both for what they are, and you need to be happy with your build and will eventually have to find a happy medium of weight vs money spent, like you said earlier, it will get expensive. btw, this is why i am going to start a hk usc to ump conversion build after the holidays as it was super light and had good accuracy at 50yds, enough so that it will be a go to gun for home defense and ultra short encounters.
  11. also i was thinking that if you dedicate an upper for hunting and one for tactical applications you cover your bases there. just another approach.
  12. welcome hoot, nice shooting.
  13. Ask Carl Edwards about that <lmao>
  14. Adding repeatable mounts for a scope and red dot will make it easier to hold a zero after swapping optics back and forth. I like larue, they are pricy but have top notch quality and guarantee. I believe a 16" barrel will be fine unless you are hunting open plains. After that many parts and pieces are personal to taste. Keep us up on your progress
  15. F.ound O.n R.oad D.ead
  16. i like the two stage geissele. i bet with a range session you could find better accuracy with one than a single stage, imo
  17. not yet, still has to pass senate vote and potus
  18. nice choice of refreshments :o
  19. i would wait for the fulton, unless you are time pinched, then order both and have a spare till a rifle grows around it <lmao> <munch>
  20. congrads, thank you, and welcome!
  21. i will be working. i know your all jealous. it wasn't mandatory, i split the holidays with my ex as far as my daughter, and my normal work schedule is thurs, fri, sat, sunday. work asked me to help develope a new process for a product along with my machine crew, and to work my normal schedule (48hrs) i am getting paid 120. i didn't have my kid so, f' it, that'll pay for xmas.
  22. Thinking this rifle is getting the cws
  23. Pics are from my phone but I finished zeroing the xps today for 50 yards, give or take at my friends house. shot a ten rd mag for the group standing with both eyes open, which i am still getting used to. also shot my gsg5 and my glock 21. very happy with my new glock, i was shooting a 2" pipe we stuck in the ground at 50 yds, can't beat that! ;D
  24. i have a larue obr 20" and a pws mk214, and that's apples and oranges. a 20" di precision rig to a 14.5 piston carbine. i will if you want but larue quality is unparalleled <thumbsup>
