  1. Wait, your Dept issues you gear?!??!!?!!??!
  2. https://www.larue.com/products/larue-tactical-spr-s-mount-lt158/ http://www.primaryarms.com/american-defense-recon-scope-mount-35mm-20moa-ad-recon-20moa-35 http://www.primaryarms.com/american-defense-recon-scope-mount-35mm-ad-recon-35 ..... they make them......
  3. I buy from Slash, good guy, great parts and I will pay more for his knowledge and service than buying from a box company. He used to be a sponsor here. Still in good standing as far as I’m concerned. I will buy from him again
  4. Nope. Proprietary everything. Cost of ammo?? Holy crap, I couldn’t justify that, not when I plan on a .458 SBR because... of Roman!!!
  5. First what is your buffer system (spring, buffer, tube). Secondly, soft nose ammo is known to not feed well into AR type rifles, it will hang on the feed ramps or damage the nose of the round.
  6. I thought PRI May have one for you but it looks like they only offer their triangle guards for the AR15. Sucks, that would’ve been a sick add!!!!
  7. Thank you DRD, good first hand insight. Whatever you can hit your target with is obviously the best. I prefer .45ACP but would use any projectile available when the time comes to be on the winning team....

  9. This thread and the ammo comparison thread have me thinking in addition to a 1911 I’m also going to add the new Glock 19x to the stable. I’ve been very happy with my G43 I bought last summer and think it needs a stable mate. Just not before I grab the 1911....
  10. Welcome from MA. Can I ask why a 24”? How far is long distance? Humping a 24” barrel hunting will suck....
  11. Welcome aboard. They seem to be good rifles once sorted out.
  12. Nah, we will keep this open and terminate you. This is part of what we represent. Helping people through their issues with build and understanding terminology. Your post is full of good info for others to learn from even if you don’t. Fax on is an outstanding company and there’s no doubt they will make things right.
  13. Lol, poor Shepp! Talon grips for my duty weapon. A large quantity of gift certificates to G Code, my go to for holsters, for a range belt set up. Also scored a quarter turn TWM gas cap for the motorcycle and brake fluid reservoir cover.
  14. Merry Christmas!! I did well, not going to lie! It was a good year for everyone at home! Be well men and ladies.
  15. My line mate at work ate two of those, next up is the duck ones
  16. This was answered by the third and fourth post.
  17. Yes but I believe that is standard
  18. And to just to clear it up you are the one calling it an AR10
  19. You aren’t building an AR10. AR10 is a strictly Armalite term as they have proprietary parts that may or may not work with other 308AR rifles. But you knew this of course, didn’t you? This is very important when you build large frame AR rifles as certain terminology refers to patterns and proprietary parts. You haven’t stated any parts you are using other than an Aero lower or whether it was bought complete (which I assumed you did not because you are having issues with a bolt catch). The two options suggested were 1. Use an Aero LPK 2. Use Armalite LPK. Btw, maybe your having a bad day or something but your attitude and general sense of cheating out to cut corners is where you are running into problems. I can assure you we have discussed this more than once on this forum. Sit, search and read and many of your questions can be answered through previous threads. or you can leave.
  20. You’ve been given two solutions so far. Not all parts from an AR15 part kit or a part kit from another manufacturer will work. One sure fire solution is to use genuine AR10 parts from Armalite ( by the way, you are not building an AR10, stop using that terminology, it’s misleading and incorrect), they are always the best parts kits and tend to solve issues like this before they arise.
  21. Guess we’ve never seen this issue....
  22. Welcome aboard from MA
