  1. Your spring is absolutely incorrect for the buffer, but, what is the internal depth of your buffer tube. It sounds like you have compounding issues. Answer 98’s questions and my question, we will probably ask more… such as what was your lubrication lever for break in? What ammo? Probably more to come but so far these are all standard and need answering to help from our couches.
  2. I have a Cronus BTR Gen 2, you won’t be disappointed
  3. The most disappointing event I watched was judo. Three matches without a single point. They were all won on disqualification for delay of game or whatever the fuck they called it. I could’ve entered and done that. Terrible
  4. If you can’t find one I probably have one I could part with, I have several spares in my parts box
  5. Yup, I think we’ve even spoken on this subject
  6. I modified one for a buddy.
  7. Mine is a White Oak barrel but I’m in the same boat. I’m down to 4 lbs of Varget. Sucks. Right when I got going…
  8. 77gr smk/23.8grVarget/LC brass/CCI #41. Shot out of an 18” SPR rifle gas barrel I’m getting 10 shot groups around an inch.
  9. Needs parts list to try to solve tolerance stacking issues. Also, has the bolt been headspaced to the barrel?
  10. The kak buffer and orange spring orange spring will work.
  11. I don’t feel disrespected, lot thicker skin than that. I posted the why so you could learn.
  12. 1. I already listed alternate parts 2. your bolt carrier group isn’t under gassed, it’s under assed. It’s not slowing the reciprocating mass down enough. Ejection don’t mean shit if it won’t function.
  13. Recoil system bro. Looks like you’ve read some posts, thank you, it’ll help this go much faster. Buffer is too light, needs to be over 5 oz, either 5.3 or 5.6. Spring is also junk. Should be 13.75”. If it’s available you can get the whole Armalite system and be done. Or…. Shop for a sprinco orange and a kak buffer. Your gas tube is good. Gas port is a little on the small side but glaring issues first
  14. Nice! If you haven’t bought the engine yet try to get a Gen three motor, it has a third injector in the direct injection that cleans the valves. That deserves a build thread!
  15. There is no Gen 1 or Gen 2. The GII was an attempt to make the .308 platform lighter and smaller but had many proprietary parts. It was short lived. Some other companies have tried the same but none play with the other kids in the sand box. The DPMS/SR25 platform isn’t completely compatible but many share interchangeable parts. Also, never, ever assume an AR10 part will, since in proper terms AR10 is strictly Armalite and is not interchangeable as it’s separate from the DPMS/SR25.
  16. Lmao!!! That dude was so confident…. Poor bastard…
  17. Welcome aboard! Some pictures with detailed measurements may clear this up too. Either way hang around and have some fun!!
  18. Lantau makes good stuff
  19. I got my shipping notification yesterday for a”few”
  20. Knife came today, shoes are supposed to come tomorrow
  21. Yup, recoil system can work on both. Also, you can mix and match it has to be matched up. Use armalite barrel with an Armalite bolt. Can be used in dpms receivers, as long as the two match. Vice verses as well. keep in mind receivers are cut differently so they cannot be mixed. Also Armalite and DPMS have different thread pitches for the barrel but, so that needs to be matched properly.
  22. Fulton Armory, Aero Precision, Brownells… a member recently grabbed a Sharps bros. Can I suggest the Armalite complete recoil system? It’ll save you many headaches and is a good deal for quality parts that will run! Also, LaRue’s MBT trigger is a great trigger for the cost, unless you had others in mind
  23. There is no Gen 1 or 2. It’s a standard DPMS pattern based rifle. The GII was their entry into the smaller sized large frame. They tried to get things closer to AR15 dimensions. Mostly proprietary parts with little after market support. Feel free to start a build thread and we will assist you into poverty!
