Don't threaten me with a good time.....
And I think you're the one who helped me find it. Damn bro, you getting senile in your old age?
Come and get me!
I can help you find one, but I ultimately agree DIY is the way to go to get exactly what you want. But for factory rifles:
LaRue
LWRC
LMT
GAP
but there are others getting up there as well. Impact guns is a good place to window shop, as well as Rainier arms
So I have two separate but related instances where I needed some support. The companies involved were Rainier and Noveske. Not only did they both offer extremely great service, they did it for free and parts are already on there way. And I should mention calls/email were at 1700hrs est.
Kudos to both companies
You could also have your barrel cut and re thread.
If I were to try to remove it, I would go the route you mentioned, but they won't be soldered, it was more than likely a spot weld.
Funny thing is none of those guys probably realize that the droopy pants thing originated in the correctional system as a way for the queens to signal to the others
You are the only one who owns one.
Others I think tried buying an upper to mate to their DPMS lowers only to find out PSA wasn't a direct fit, though they claimed to be at first.
Did you buy a complete rifle? If so, you are the first, and we would like pictures and details on the rifle. Range trip documentation would be great too.
I think what we (wrongly) assumed was you were buying an upper or parts to build.
Our bad
If you ease the bolt closed, or ride your handle, you are risking the bolt not fully seating the bullet in the chamber, and opening up a huge possibility of injury or worse. Not recommended. Why not have a round chambered with the safety on?
