  1. Wrong buffer man, try Heavybuffers.com. You'll get the right one and will be happy as a clam. Fyi- only Armalite makes AR10's
  2. Yup, I'm grabbing some! New clause in legislation here for me, yay!
  3. Don't bother with such a long barrel then. A 16" or a 14.5" will be plenty at that distance, be lighter, and still offer you plenty of accuracy.
  4. what are you plans/ goals for the rifle? Are going to hump it through the woods? Is it going to be a target rifle? Those barrel lengths are fine, but a 16" with a shooter with capability is good for 800 yds, with less weight. Also, the Knights rail uses a wrench that is proprietary, so you may have send it out to get mounted. Not a big deal but figured you may want to know. I prefer Armalite for your parts kit, great springs, and a bolt catch second to none. Geiselle trigger. Period. My OBR uses a Lothar Walther barrel, LW50, I believe, and is 1/2 MOA or better with me shooting FGGM. I believe you can get it with a matched bolt, always a bonus. Also check out Criterion, a site sponsor, for a great barrel as well as JP and Rainier's Ultramatch
  5. When I travel there was a special claim area. A quality case (i.e. Pelican) isn't going to "ding". If you aren't traveling with a case that can withstand the abuse, you are already setting yourself up for failure.
  6. Gear scout had something on Facebook with a link to this video. Can accept pmags or aics mags with a bottom metal conversion
  7. You need to be careful, if you do go too much and the rifle goes full auto, it can be no bueno.
  8. Or in mass as I have a MK214. The SCAR just didn't do it for me. Plus I like being able to use my mags between all my .308 AR'S
  9. You hope.
  10. This is definitely the poor grammar thread.
  11. Why wouldn't you want a brake?
  12. I think you'll need their lpk for that, may want to send them an email to check
  13. LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! I always raz her..... H Andretti!
  14. I think he is speaking to the quality of their other products. I don't own one of their barrels, but I do own many receiver sets and it's nothing but top quality. I believe there is some here with their barrels but they weren't regular contributors.
  15. Yessir, I'm still trying to convince the wife it's what we need to do to ours.
  16. Exactly what I thought when heard this. Tragic, yes. But not responsible on her part.
  17. While I think the RRA is a good rifle, you'll find more options with the Armalite. The G2 is getting good reviews but is also proprietary with not too many options out there yet, or maybe there is but nobody's figured out what works. A standard DPMS may offer as many choices as the Armalite. If it was my money, and these were my choices, I'd sway Armalite
  18. Sorry, I must've misread this. Lol
  19. Wow, I thought this was .308 you were talking about. I would expect some tolerance stacking without a milspec, but .223, unacceptable
  20. Welcome back, glad to see you around more, pants down hugs and all, but you're late, there were several posts on this ;)
