  1. They need to be in prison - where they'll be taken care of nicely, I'm positive. <thumbsup>

    SUPRISE!!!

CONGRATS, MATT!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! Oh HELL YEAH!!! ^^^ LMFAO!...
  3. Good luck and God Speed, Terry - I'll try to keep the bastards off my back 'til you get in here in a couple weeks. <thumbsup>
  4. Taking off the fixed front sight will be more of a job than putting on the new gb. Look at the taper pins closely - one side will be smaller than the other. You want to hit the small side. I start them with a punch that's about twice the size of the pin. Hit that thing HARD. Hard enough that you think you are using WAY too much force. I'm not kidding. Once they start to move, step the punch down to a size that will drive them all the way out. HIT THEM HARD...

    Xds 45&9 recall?!

Yesterday's update from SA - they think they have the final solution, and will test this week. Bigger update expected next week:
  6. I'm in, brother! <thumbsup>
  7. I don't get it. In reality, I have to remove my 17-year old son from my trust. He's not old enough to own/possess a handgun (21). He's not old enough to own/possess a rifle or shotgun (18). He's not old enough to own NFA weapons, so no suppressors, no SBRs, etc. So, Attorney Question coming up - Do I have to WAIT until all the stamps go through, THEN add him to the trust? More importantly, this looks like I have to do a complete background certification on EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the trust - so is that 7 Tax Stamps that I have to pay for? Or just 7 sets of fingerprints, pics, and CLEO sigs? What a bunch of S H I T.
  8. In the past, several people have reported this exact same condition with RRA 2-stage triggers - second stage goes soft, and essentially disappears, rendering the trigger an "expensive single stage" trigger. I don't know if this is still happening with RRA 2-stage triggers or not. Was this a DPMS-sourced trigger in a complete rifle? Where did the trigger come from?
  9. Also adds 80-thou to the length of the carrier - in some rifles, this is required.
  10. Precision Reflex makes one. PRI parts are top notch. http://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186815&CAT=4274
  11. No. EDIT: However, research the reason for the manufacture of the Tubb CWS. It explains lock time.
  12. I think I found a possibility just yesterday or the day before. I'll look it up. EDIT - These guys might know; worth the call, anyway. http://www.tworiversarms.com/index.html
  13. Mike, I'll have 2 adults and 2 17-year olds in a small Nissan truck, brother. And I can't transport anyone in the back on the Hwy between here and CG. I have a better way in and out, besides that crazy-ass road. All the roads have been graded, too. Main road almost all the way there, then smooth dirt for a short distance. Definitely nothing that would harm tires, brother. <thumbsup> I plan to be out there at 9am - meeting my old parts manager and step-son.
  14. ^^^ LMFAO!!!
  15. Nice!!!
  16. I was gonna say that EXACT same thing!!! <laughs>
  17. Damn! We were typing at the same time or something...
  18. They have to plant it first - then it can magically "be discovered" in the trunk of her Lexus.
  19. Terrance Gainer, the Senate sergeant at arms, told Fox News that this appears to be an "isolated incident." Gainer also said the injured Capitol Police officer crashed a police cruiser while trying to join the chase. The cruiser "seriously clipped" a barricade, he said, but the injuries are "not life threatening." No joke, "seriously clipped" it... Suspect is dead. 1 year-old baby is fine. Suspect tried to run down a Secret Service Agent, then the chase started.
  20. I'm all for it!!! Hell yeah!!! Hitting the range at 9am. <thumbsup> Oh Lordy, not another one... No kiddin', huh?...
  21. Differences highlighted. Would I trust it? I wouldn't try to beat someone to death with it, but I don't think it's going to fail. It's a big piece of aluminum.
  22. That wrecked police car is WRECKED bad!
  23. Nice looking shooter!
  24. I've got one on a 16" 5.56 precision rifle. It works, and holds zero after removal/reinstallation. It's no ADM (which I have several of), but it's not bad.
  25. Hey, that's a pretty great place - had breakfast with him there one Saturday morning. <thumbsup> I'm just sayin'...
