I needed to get this one seen... <lmao> I'll be in Vegas this weekend, through Monday afternoon. Leaving early early Friday morning. If possible, I'd like to meet up somewhere. Coming up for the Monster Cup race at the stadium. Please let me know if this is workable; I'd love it!

Just saw that as OE gear on something, recently. Looks like a good one.

You did a DAMN fine job on that rifle! I'll bet that thing shoots the lights out - can't wait to see the range results. <thumbsup> -
I saw the sticker you posted, so I checked it out, and I LOVE it! It's like a bunch of DIY'ers that have a mountain biking problem... <lmao> It's awesome. It does remind me of this place, a lot! <thumbsup> Saw your crank review, too - damn good work.

One of the 3d Ranger Bn guys that was in the attack last weekend, where 4 were killed. Same attack that our fcuked up government wouldn't pay death benefits for. This guy is a complete stud.

Anyone else look up that website?... <lmao>

I followed the first two seasons pretty close, but kinda ran out of time after that. Haven't kept up in quite awhile. I need to find the older stuff on Netflix or something. I was pissed about Opie's wife. I was even more pissed about Opie. That schit was wrong.

You are a slut for that FNX. I forgot... <lmao>

Springfield updated the recall info last Friday, 11 Oct. They have a final solution now, and pistols will be going back to owners starting 21 Oct. Just hit the same links above, and it'll take you to their website, with current information.

Search online retailers for the 4" XD45, calculate whatever your local FFL charges for a transfer into the price, and spend the remainder on a trigger kit from Springer Precision. The wife will be able to handle that and shoot that quite well, I'd imagine.

I've seen used M82 Barrett .50s for around $10K. The M107 Barrett .50 is higher than that. I'd check to see which model he has before giving it serious consideration.

No matter how much he can smooth a trigger, he can't turn a single stage into a 2-stage trigger. Unpossible. I'd focus the money on the backup gun for the wife first, before the deployment, before spending it on the SSA-E. An alternative to both courses of action is picking up the Armalite 2-stage NM trigger. It's a damn good trigger, adjustable at the user level, priced great, and will work well for you. Upon return, spend some deployment cash on the SSA-E, and put the Armalite NM in another build. I'm betting there will be another build... I'm just sayin'...

Wash, that'll just cause a riot in DC, or something. Can't piss those people off, or you won't get their votes next time. They'll vote for the other guy, that promises to give them more free schit...

Yep, that news hit a couple years ago. The problem is with those in leadership positions, and also those they hook up with their lucrative govt contracts. The leaders in charge at that time are mostly gone now, but nothing was done to them. That mortuary should be out of business, but it's not. Disgusting.

^^^ True. Very true. I was thinking that when I read the original article - I can't WAIT to start reading those news stories! Should start happening next month, so I'll be looking.

Brass is the currency of the future - save all you can, because sometime down the road, someone else is gonna need the crap brass that you have. I've got some of the CBC .308 Win brass that I kept. I'll see how it does. It fired the first time, but I never really looked at it much, besides from picking it up.

Brother, I'll drive back down there and stay with friends, just to get Big Mike back on the range. Plus, I'm "comfortable" at that range. <thumbsup>

When you get that MRAD, I'm buying a plane ticket to your place! <thumbsup>

I just hadn't been to either one, so I wasn't sure, man. I need to try it out one day.

Dude, Mike is everywhere... I'm just sayin'... Omnipresent... <thumbsup>

Jus the simple fact that we have SOOOO many people in this country on this system - it's sickening. Sure, some people need it, and couldn't get by without it. Others, though... Get a fcukin job somewhere instead of sitting on your fat ass, provide for your own family, and quit trying to suck the government tit. Black Friday comes early as computer glitches cause welfare benefits frenzy Published October 14, 2013FoxNews.com In some Walmart stores, customers emptied shelves like it was Black Friday, while in others, no one could buy anything -- all thanks to a weekend of glitches with the nation's welfare system. Problems involving Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards, the government payments to the poor that are administered by states with the help of private companies, plagued at least 17 states Saturday and Sunday, creating retail riots. At Louisiana stores in Springhill and Mansfield, cards registered no spending limits, prompting recipients to go on buying binges. "It was worse than any Black Friday,” Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd told local station KSLA-TV. Customers said shelves were picked clean in a mob scene that left employees rattled. Walmart spokeswoman Kayla Whaling told the station the company made a conscious decision to keep ringing up goods rather than to cut people off. "We did make the decision to continue to accept EBT cards (and purchases on WIC and SNAP) during the outage so that they could get food for their families," she said. But when order was restored and the cards began reading properly, it became clear that some customers were out to take advantage of the taxpayer-funded program. One woman had $700 worth of merchandise in her cart and an EBT card with a balance of just 49 cents. The glitches, which were apparently triggered by a a system failure at Xerox, which handles processing for many states, left other users unable to buy anything. At a Mississippi Walmart, customers rioted and even left the store with groceries without paying after they were unable to use their food stamp cards on Saturday, according to the Clarion-Ledger. The mini riot happened at the Walmart in Philadelphia, Miss. Shortly thereafter, managers decided to temporarily close the store. “For the safety of our customers we did make a management decision to close the store," Whaling said of the Mississippi incident. "We’re looking into everything; looking at surveillance video and working with the local police.” While Walmart, as the nation's biggest retailer and grocer, was affected most, the glitch hampered customers at other stores, as well. In Massachusetts, nearly 1 million EBT card users were unable to access the SNAP food program or withdraw cash, said Matthew Kitsos, spokesman with the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance. “We didn’t have answers for them, except for that there were problems in the state,” the manager of a Market Basket in Somerville, who asked that his name not be used, told the Boston Herald. “A lot of people are depending on them. They have kids; they depend on that money.” Xerox spokeswoman Karen Arena told USA Today that some Electronic Benefits Transfer systems were experiencing connectivity issues after a routine test of a backup system at a location in the Midwest caused an outage. U.S. Department of Agriculture spokeswoman Courtney Rowe underscored that the outage was not related to the federal government shutdown. Xerox runs EBT card systems for 17 states. All were affected by the outage. Reports surfaced around 9 a.m. Saturday that customers' EBT cards were not working in stores. Other affected states included Alabama, California, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
