  1. Dude! You have my Woody!!! <lmao>
  2. Matt, would/wil your .936 block make it over the OPS INC brake? That's a combo I hadn't thought about.
  3. Forgot to mention what I DID manage to get today... I was after reloading supplies. There was NO Varget to be had. I grabbed two boxes of CCI 200's (2k, total) and two pounds of Accurate 2495 powder. Along with that was another dry storage box, and a nice Lyman case-prep multi tool (inner/outer case mouth deburring tools, large and small primer pocket cleaners, and chamfers). This little beauty:
  4. You're not going to get any gas block over any brake - unpossible. Are you having a brake pinned/welded on the barrel, before you get the gas block on there? If so, you need to find a two-piece gas block, no other way around that.
  5. Pics of this are almost mandatory... Never heard anyone complain about a FA before... <dontknow>
  6. By the way - this is LAST YEAR'S Xmas special. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Roger is fantastic about everything, so I'm not surprised that he would cover your order this year. <thumbsup>
  7. Hit up the Glendale Cabela's 2 weeks ago. Man, if only I could predict the future. I walked out $650 poorer, anyway. Grabbed another plastic ammo storage can, FIVE 50-rd boxes of Black Hills Mk262 "seconds," a bunch of .308 Win in many different flavors, and some good 30-06. Once I had that little green can packed full, I figured that was enough for the trip, and hit the cashier... Now, today... There was not one single AR on the shelf. The Glendale Cabela's always stocks the hell out of POF, too, since they're local to the store. Nothing. Not one AR mag, of any capacity. No .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO, .308 Win or 7.62x51 ammo. Well, I think I did see some 36gr varmint rounds for .223, and some 120gr Barnes loading for .308 Win. Everything else was gone. Oddly, there was plenty of pistol ammo, unless you were looking for .45ACP - that was GONE. All of it, from all manufacturers. .40 was there, 9mm-a-plenty, various other pistol calibers. Surprising, that any was there at all. Last year, I hit up the store on Xmas Eve - big mistake. It took me over 2 hours just to buy a scope, and I went in there knowing exactly which one I wanted. I wasn't about to try that this year, so I hit it today. Big, big difference comparing today to 2 weeks ago - and Xmas didn't have poop to do with it. :o

Mike, you never cease to amaze me, brother... <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  9. Just tap and set-screw the detent and spring in place - you'll never have to worry about it again. <thumbsup>
  10. ^^^ On that, keep in mind, it's designed and made for one single use - cleaning your barrel. You mount the oil filter on the end so you can REALLY hit the barrel with harsh solvents and oils, tip down, and the oil filter catches it. It's environmentally friendly, and responsible, because you're not spilling those harsh chemicals out in the environment. The EPA should thank the manufacturer for that invention. <thumbsup> No joke on that. Really.
  11. SSA-E for the non-adjustables. One of the Hi-Speed models (there are 3) if you need adjustable. The Hi-Speed models are more expensive. You'd have no issues with the SSA-E.

    Arizona Guys!!!

Had 18 or 19 back on Day 2, with only one additional Rifleman qual. Wind wasn't as bad, but the temp was down a few more degrees. Great weekend, and great shooters. I need to get some of you guys out for this - and get Jon back out there. Right now, there are only 2 scheduled for 2012 at my range - September and December. There is usually a March shoot and an April shoot, but local-range scheduling jacked that up. I'm working on getting at least one of those back. I think the next one we'll be doing will be back at Marana in the spring. Jon's home turf. <thumbsup>
  13. That's old skool - and works. <thumbsup>
  14. It's a very good trigger for bench shooting. Great 2-stage, with 2.3 pounds first stage, and an additional 1.2 pounds for the second stage. Trigger reset is excellent, and makes for very nice follow up shots. Great trigger. <thumbsup>
  15. Fantastic, shepp! Dissy's are great! <thumbsup>
  16. NICE, wash!!! <thumbsup>
  17. OP, contact ADCO (Steve @ ADCO), and send your poop to him. There's probably no one else in this country that can do the work that he can do, when you say what you want done. Sure, you could explain it to some badass gunsmith, and explain what you want done, and they could probably pull it off, if they understand you right - but you don't have to explain it to ADCO. Just tell them what you want done, and it'll be done.
  18. I've got a place for ya out here in the desert, brother. The Wild West. It may very well be the last bastion of sanity, in the not-too-distant future. It's mainly free of fuckin' ignorant liberals. Mainly... You are welcome, with open arms - and all your arms. <thumbsup> :happydrunks:

    OH NOO!!

    Good luck. <thumbsup>
  20. I have stories about this. <thumbsup>
  21. ^^^ Drew definitely has insider information - if he was a stock trader, SEC would be straight up his arse... <lmao> <laughs>
  22. That wicked-ass snowstorm in Jan-Feb 2010 - I was the only guy within 400 yards that had a generator. I wired that bastard into the house, fired it up, and had what I needed, in a minimal fashion... When the lights came on... The neighbors freaked... <lmao> <thumbsup>

Absolutely! I have about 25 years of them, without missing an issue. Some are QUITE valuable now. ;D <thumbsup> They are mint...
  24. All the weenie, weak, pansy-wishy-washy candyasses in this country need a bad, big dose of WAKETHEFUCKUP... Everytime they cry about something, I want to comfort them - with this...
  25. PURE bullpoopy. The ONLY place where there is a copy of your 4473 is with the dealer you purchased the firearm through. There is NOT a copy, scan, fax, reproduction of the 4473 anywhere else, but in that dealer's possession. If you fucked up somewhere along the lines, then the BATFE will request that your dealer provide them the information on the 4473, but you'd already know about that by now... If the BATFE calls a dealer for info, when tracing a firearm, that dealer has 30 minutes to get that information back to them - and it's not 31 minutes, either. The only time that happens is when a serial number shows up at a crime scene. Someone, somewhere in this petition process, is bullshitting people.
