  1. Hell yeah! :hethan:
  2. Damn. :o That will be a kickass show! <thumbsup>
  3. I somehow KEEP forgetting to call him. >:( I swear every morning that I'll call that day, then get busy at work and forget to do it. I was thinking about it last Sunday morning when I met up with Jon - how convenient that would have been to pick it up, since I was already in Tucson... I'll do my best to remember tomorrow, and see what the status is. Those grips are gonna be SCHWEEEEET!!! :happydrunks:

    Rottweilers

THAT, my brother, is a GIGANTIC understatement!... <thumbsup> <lmao> <laughs> Wait until yours eats the wooden steps off your deck, at 10mos old... ;D
  5. That's VERY damn cool, big bore!!! <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  6. Yep, exactly. And that's some new-production Lake City, too. I think you scored, Rob, big time. Do you have a bullet puller? Pull one of the projos and post the pic. That'll tell for sure. I think you nailed some good stuff. If you do pull one, don't spill the powder - weigh the powder charge and see what's up. Sometimes the weight of the charge, when you know the rest of the components, will tell you what powder it is. <thumbsup>
  7. Yes, it definitely could.
  8. I've got alot of time on the M203 - alot, and even more with the old M79 - this thing looks just like a modernized version of the M79. I want it. BAD... :o :cookoo:
  9. Ah poop. I found it... :o https://citadelgunandsafe.com/cart/shop-2/bates-ditius-bd-tbl-37-flare-launcher-with-wood-stock/
  10. ^^^ Not to mention what I've already sent YOU... :o We're both goin' down, man. In flames. <lmao> <laughs>
  11. shepp, with the right holster, brother, you can hide a full-size 1911 - don't even need to be fat to do it!... <thumbsup> <lmao>
  12. AWESOME!!! <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  13. Jon, I only bought the XD45 because of all the pressure from you plastic-gun people... <lmao> I picked up the LEO version because it's most like a 1911. You plastic-gun people are lucky I caved in that far... <laughs> Greg - no chance, brother. You used a 5" 1911 to outshoot someone with a 4" 1911... Not that you can shoot my Desert Warrior better than I can... ;D <munch> (I feel next year's challenge forming already... )
  14. My opinion on firearm's trusts - they are enforcable legal documents, and should always be prepared by legal professionals. Someone who is not licensed to practice law (gun store person with cookie-cutter trust blank format) - should not be practicing law. That right there, in itself, makes it a bogus legal document. <thumbsup>
  15. Mike, what the hell is that thing, how much does it cost, and where do you get it? That is badass. <thumbsup>
  16. That's the Gen 2. I'd bet it would fit the Gen 1 fronts just fine, brother. Roll pin used to secure the sight post, once sighted in.
  17. Scope: Nikon M-308 with BDC-800 reticle. 40 MOA of internal adjustment, but you probably won't use it, due to the BDC reticle. http://www.nikonhunting.com/products/riflescopes/m-308/4-16x42_SF_BDC_800/8495 Street price under $500, and it includes the mount.
  18. Hit it with a punch that has a face much larger than the pin - to get it moving. I usually use 1/4" or 3/16" to start them on their way. Switch to the smaller punch once you've already got it moving. Hit it like it took something from you. <thumbsup>
  19. Magwa, that's a good front sight setup - I'm running that on two different rifles, and completely recommend it, brother. <thumbsup> Dibs on the front sight, for Magwa, until he can see this/make decision. ;D
  20. How 'bout the 4" barrel, with thumb safety? The LEO model. <thumbsup> 13-rd mag, though.
  21. No such thing as coincidence, brother. There's something here that was meant to be. <thumbsup>
  22. Appleseed Shoot at my range down here (Sierra Vista Shooting Range) on Dec 15th and 16th. I'll be teaching both days. If anyone wants to come down, let me know. I'm gonna see if I can leave my camper on the range that night, and stay out there. Typically, there's no way in hell you can overnight out there, but I'm going to try it and see if I can get that through. The 2-day shoot costs are $70-ish, total. Here's a link with general details: http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=26878
  23. What's the headstamp, brother?
  24. He smacked his beak pretty hard on that sail boom, too... <lmao>
  25. That bike scared the piss outta me. For realz. <lmao> We got into camp late Tuesday (REAL late) /slash/ Wednesday morning. When I pulled into the semi-usual camping spot in darkness, I went pretty far down the wash. Drove until I saw a great spot, and saw another campsite about a hundred yards away in the headlights... The next day, Chris came over to my camp - he's the owner of the 426 I'd been working on for more than a full riding season. It has a test-n-tune knobby on it also. He came back later Wednesday afternoon and blasted down the flats on it, then rode the CR down the flats. He tried to buy the CR from me right then... <laughs> No Bueno, he can't have it. He declared that we were mounting the rear paddles Thursday morning. Next morning comes around, and we're spoonin' the knobs off the wheels and spoonin' the paddles on there. Went straight to the hill. After a few rips up the hill in 3rd, I felt pretty decent in the whoops at the bottom (they weren't deep yet, because it was still the beginning of a busy holiday weekend out there). Maybe 2ft deep whoops. I was feeling confident, so I grabbed 4th before the whoops a few times, and was starting to get that sheit down. Then I raced Chris on his 426. Straight fukkin' smoked him up that hill. Bad. Turned around and did it a few more times, giving him a heinous ass-whoopin' to the top. THEN... My buddy Scott, on the TRX quad with the 350 powervalve engine lines up on the left of me. Chris os on the right side. We LAY INTO IT. The damn CR comes out to the left in 1st, and I think to myself, "I'll just grab 2nd and whack it, and it'll straighten out..." :o Damn thing comes out hard to the right side. Hmmm... "I'll just grab 3rd, and whack it, and it'll straighten out..." IT DID! Now, I'm about to slam through the whoops. Logical decision was to grab 4th and hit it, just like before. Got about 3 or 4 whoops into the set, and the damn thing stands STRAIGHT UP in the bottom of a whoop. I slammed the throttle shut, bounced through the rest of the set, downshifted to 3rd, and coasted out of the whoops - THEN hit it again. Everybody was too far ahead to catch, so I just stayed in it up the hill, and tried my best. THAT point right there was when I figured out - that you can't figure those things out. You NEVER really "have it" on one of them. You might have it most of the time, but that bike is just biding it's time, deciding on it's own when the best time to kill you will be. It's a mean, nasty bastard, but also a calculating, patient one. Fukkin' pure evil. The spot on the back of my head DID grow. From that ride right there. That mean sum'bitch stayed in camp until Sunday afternoon. I took it out again for the ride that David ended up breaking his leg on - Last ride of that day. By then, it was the end of the holiday weekend, and those damn whoops at the bottom of the hill were about 3 or so feet deep. There were no 4th gear runs through the whoops that day, but I got 4th once coming out of them. The other runs were 3rd gear runs up the hill, and it was still fast as hell. Faster than any one of the 450cc racequads out there with us. That thing is psycho, and my life is now shorter because of it. It really is the only motorcycle I've ever ridden, in my whole life, that scares the poop out of me. I've ridden some pretty crazy, turbo nitrous drag quads that fuel on methanol, and this thing scares me WAY more than those things. :cookoo:
