  1. I feel I have to say it... just because... <dontknow> :wwop: No generic pics, either, man. <laughs> <lmao>
  2. Exactly - this isn't a semi-auto AR-15, with M4 feedramps. 1911s are different. Feedramp angle is VERY key in the ammo you use, and if it's to steep, hollowpoints will hang. Smooth that out, lessen the angle, and port the bottom of the barrel for it, and you can feed anything.
  3. Gratuitous Gun Porn... <thumbsup>
  4. That thing is the ultimate hooligan bike - you can get into SO much trouble SO fast with it. It's not even funny... :-[ <thumbsup> Suzuki made it as a 400, but mine's not. There's alot inside that engine. <laughs>
  5. Got the stock inletting finished tonight, and function checked both styles of magazines. The Ruger GSR Accurate Mag functions flawlessly for feeding and ejection of rounds. Kinda knew that was gonna happen. Surprisingly, the Ruger GSR polymer mag won't feed rounds. Disappointing. It might grab the top round once in awhile, but if it does it won't grab the next. Might be the thick feedlips... Gonna try a few things... <thumbsup>
  6. Couldn't figure out where my info in this thread went - we have another: http://308ar.com/forum/club-house/what-other-hobbies-or-activities/ Maybe a "Merge Topics" is in order...
  7. I'm in. Checking tomorrow. 1998 CR500 do?... ;D
  8. Feed ramp. Wait until you shoot it some first, though, and feed it ball ammo initially. Hand cycle hollowpoints before using them. If the feedramp angle is too steep, most hollowpoints will snag on it and stop the slide. Always check first. Break it in, though, like triple d said.
  9. Hell yeah... <laughs> <lmao>
  10. That's somewhere around 1/3 the price of that one... <thumbsup>
  11. Ooooohhh... Subtle, yet provocative... :love4: <laughs>
  12. D'oh! :o I forgot about the state... Sorry, brother. :-[
  13. That's unfortunate.
  14. You'll get the pat-down off the range, too... I thought I only had to worry about Rob... <laughs>
  15. It kinda stands out... <thumbsup> <lmao> Wait 'til you see the rest of "it..." :o <laughs>
  16. The only practical thing that you can bed on an AR-type is the barrel to the upper receiver. There is no "action" to bed, like on a bolt rifle.
  17. Any Kimber .45 ACP. <thumbsup>
  18. I've been eyeballing that once since it came out - love that gun. I love shooting the Desert Warrior, but I hate beating the hell out of it, if that makes sense - I want this Scorpion so I can beat it like a baby seal... :o <laughs>
  19. ESPECIALLY if he's in it!!! Holy shat, can he shoot those two 45LCs!!! :o
  20. Received the parts already - almost 48 hours after hanging up the phonecall with Roger, and the order was here waiting for me to pick it up. <thumbsup> :happydrunks: Here's a comparison between the Rem 700 SPS Tactical factory polymer "bottom metal" parts against the BAD-DBM. Minor inletting will need to be made in the Hogue OM stock, but it's very minor. Can't get to that tomorrow night, but I'll do it Friday night. Tests one and two are a pass. Test one was the factory Ruger Gunsite Scout 10-round mag, made by Accurate Mag - fits in there like a charm: Test two was the Ruger GSR polymer 10-round mag - also fits like a charm, and fits slightly tighter than the Accurate Mag (same way on the Ruger GSR, too). Love it. Suggested retail on the 10-round polymer mag straight from Ruger is $39.99. Score. ;D I have a couple more tests that I'll do with the BAD-DBM, but those will come next week. Friday night I'll inlet that stock and function check the loading, and Sunday it's gettin' live-fired with the 10-rounders. <thumbsup> Again, I can't thank you enough, Roger. Sincerely. 8)
  21. Amazing - I talked to Roger sometime Monday afternoon, and he got my order out that day. Everything arrived today. <thumbsup> Can't even say enough good things about service like that. Astounding. Somewhere in that order, I received some very interesting parts. As soon as everything came in, I unpackaged it all and stashed it in one of my little parts-bin holders... ;D
  22. Yep, the whole southside of the Huachuca Mtns were ablaze... There was one fire that started up separately on the post - bulldozer was cutting firebreaks and sparked off a rock in the dirt. poop went up fast, from about the Garden Canyon area, and burned all the way down to Hwy 90, in the span of less than an hour. It all sucked. Tore the local economy up, in a big way.
  23. But, you DO have a .308. All you need is another mount. This one will work - just sayin'... <thumbsup> <laughs>
  24. You're missing a critical piece of that suppressor system, unless it was stuck inside the suppressor. There's more to the 12th than what you pictured.
