  1. planeflyer - Jon - and I have both had hands-on with the skull-camo Christiansen Arms version, with the carbon fiber wrapped barrel. That thing was unbelievable... :o OP, your rifle is completely unique, and straight badass. <thumbsup>
  2. The TRX rail for the .308 was slightly too small in inner diameter, and wouldn't clear the hump on the PRI at the adjustment part. You can stuff anything under the MRF-308 - I'm running that one on my .308. <thumbsup> Edited, for correction - the TRX skinny-rail info... MRF is still good. <thumbsup>
  3. Temporarily... ;D
  4. By calendar-month, Dec 11th is 60 days from today... When did you order yours? Bigt77 is at your 60-day window right now, based on your dealer. 7 more days, and he busts his record. At any rate, this is one old thread. <thumbsup>
  5. On a side note, and glad to be out of the direct line of fire... I think that was quite well played... <dontknow> <lmao> <munch>
  6. Going on the Noveske set I posted on Pg 26... :2nd:
  7. Very interested in this one, if you can take the time to post it's details. <thumbsup>
  8. Good point, guys - this was posted in the 80% lowers section. JohnnyV's stuff would have been more appropriate in some other section, outside of this one - but I'm not sure which one... In an exteme sense, it much more belongs in this section: http://308ar.com/forum/building-a-308ar/ It's damn sure nothing like an 80% lower, though.
  9. You could rock a 16" barrel to 500 with ease. <thumbsup>
  10. I hate to be an instigator, brothers, I really do. Sometimes I lose sleep at night, worried to death that I'm a bad influence on some of you guys. It really does keep me awake, and bothers me down to the core of my good soul. As an attempt at a sincere apology, I present you with this offering in hopes that you'll forgive me... :-[ <lmao> <munch>
  11. A whole lot of the general public would poop their pants if they knew about the unbelievably ultra-high tech security that happens at major events. I know several people involved in this realm - many from my former career field. It's a damn fine job. <thumbsup>
  12. Which 13.8" Troy rail are you running? We just had a problem with the Troy TRX and the PRI adjustable...
  13. I LOVE what this guy did here, blasting the poop out of the laptop with a .45. Couldn't be more perfect, IMHO. If I could've gotten away with blasting Jake's Xbox with a .45, in suburban Phoenix, I would have done that. BFH was the next best option. I'm glad I didn't video his Xbox destruction, though - I looked like a psycho caveman, clubbing that thing like it was a baby seal. :o I'd STILL be in the nuthouse if a video of that got out. :cookoo: I felt pretty damn good after that, though - it definitely had it's intended affect.
  14. KeepShooting makes new production M3 Grease Gun mags, and from what I've read, they work pretty well in the CNC lower. They're available from many, many sources, but they're actually cheaper to buy in bulk, straight from KeepShooting.com. Right from the manufacturer. That rarely happens. The 10-pack is cheapest. <thumbsup> http://www.keepshooting.com/m3-grease-gun-magazine.html There are sources for original-issue, new-in-wrapper GG mags - I'll PM those sources to you. Last time I posted something online, on a good deal (not on here), the poop sold out. AND, it's still out of stock. I tried to buy something last night, and everything I previously mentioned is gone, OOS, from the vendor I specifically listed. I learned... >:(
  15. At the end of my son's 7th grade, I'd had enough of his excuses for schoolwork, but his intense focus and concentration on his Xbox. I went to the garage and snatched up my shop hammer (BFH, if you guys know what that is), placed his Xbox in his bedroom doorway - and DEMOLISHED it. Right there in front of him. Capacitors, resistors, circuit board... everywhere. Everywhere... Went to the kitchen, pulled out a garbage bag, and made him clean up the mess. He tried to save a few resistors and capacitors - made him chuck those, too. His grades went up. He just recently bought a new Xbox for himself, last fall. With money he earned over the summer, when I made him work in the shop all summer.
  16. Lots of places are selling GG mags still - old surplus, NIW, or new manufacture. I'll dig out the sources and list them up. <thumbsup>
  17. Cheapest way to do it - and you know what my preference is... <lmao> Oly K45 complete upper, mated up with the CNC Guns dedicated lower, made for Grease Gun 30-rd mags. <thumbsup> Mid-$600 for the upper, $400 for the stripped lower (with mag release installed), and then the rest of the lower parts + GG mags. Done.
  18. Brewing up some Noveske kool-aid, finally. This one will be nasty... ;D
  19. Yes, most definitely. What brand of 80% lower did you buy? We can tell you what configuration that is, and whether it's DPMS or Armalite patterned. <thumbsup>
  20. DAMN!!! :o THAT IS EFFIN' SWEET!!!! :hethan:
  21. Definitely my choice for shot timers. <thumbsup>
  22. That's some good signature material, right there. <thumbsup> <lmao>
  23. The offerings from CDNN right now, in the CMMG Mk-series. Those are pretty good deals.
  24. Rockin' a .308 through a 2-day carbine course is gonna be painful. Tell me it's not when it's over... <laughs> Take a 5.56 gun as a backup, because 1/2 way through day one, you'll be doubting your judgment on primary weapons choice.
  25. Hell no - your rant is very justified. The PC bastards need to die a slow, painful death. With pliers and a blowtorch. Waterboarding is the only other alternative for them.
