  1. Happy Thanksgiving to all my brothers here - Savages though you be, I wouldn't trade any of you for the world.
  2. What's the internal depth on that carbine receiver extension? There are only two propper possibilities; 7.000" internal, or 7 5/8" internal. No matter which one it is, that 3.250" long AR15 carbine buffer shouldn't allow that BCG to slam into the ears on that lower receiver.
  3. Live bar stool performance from Aaron Lewis. He's the king of this.
  4. I've got some even more crazy shiit for you than that, that's actually real, but it's not time yet. Be patient.
  5. Rob was skeered after that. She whooped his ass... We're gonna WRECK this man that she has, come 11 Dec. He's in for a reckoning... Don't treat this girl wrong.... You have one chance...
  6. That just means that we have the capability to wreck him. We've wrecked you before, so there isn't anything unpossible here.
  7. I have 4 that I deal with. One in North Phoenix, one in Mesa, and one in Avondale, then the one in Tuscon. The gun-counter kids piss me off, like you stated. Most of them don't know shiit, and they are NOT gun-guys. They don't have the experience. So, I don't ask them questions, besides, "Gimme your powder book and tell me what powders you have in stock when I ask about specific ones..." They're helpful at that. I bought a set of Warne Maxima steel rings for the Win Mag there, and the kid asked what I was putting them on. I told him a Rem 700 Long Range in .300 Win Mag, with the EGW 30 MOA rail, and a 6-24 scope with 56mm objective. I had the Low rings that I needed. Well, dipshiit tried real hard to tell me that I needed Medium rings for that combination, and I told him he was wrong. Then, he asked that the rifle was for. "It's to shoot a mile, kid." Then, he starts telling me everything involved in shooting a mile, and says that factory ammo won't get there. I tell him I handload - and I'm getting pretty tired of the conversation by now, so I tell him to give me the fucking Low rings that are on that back wall. He again had to chime in... "They won't work..." I'ma slap you right now if you don't give me what I just asked you to give me, punk. So, the Low rings worked, the rail had me at a 500 yard zero, and I went back and told that shiithead that everything went great. I don't need their commentary on what I'm doing, and don't trust their gun advice. But the store is good.
  8. This is fuckin' HLARIOUS!!! We set up a shoot down here for Dec 11th. One of our friends that shoots with us, Kenny, brings a family friend's daughter out to shoot with us, Hannah. She's a badass kid. Seems, she's met this Army Reserve guy, things are heating up, so... Kenny already warned the kid. "She has LOT'S of Uncles, that have LOT'S of skills and guns, and won't hesitate to take you apart and spread you around in the desert... If you ever do anything bad to Hannah..." SO! The kid is actually gonna come out and shoot. At least he'll get here. He'll get the fucking picture pretty quick, I bet. This is gonna be a funny shoot-story, that I'll have to put up, and I'll make sure I get vids. It'll end up something like this, I'm sure... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lz36kLYid0
  9. Aaron Lewis LIVE... cannot be beat. Here's his new one live, and it's pretty badass...
  10. These guys always go north - my locals, here. I want to take them south, to the Ogilby area. They've never been down there...
  11. Brother, I miss you IN the dunes. It's been way too long, and we need to do it again. I think I know a guy I can borrow a cage from, and get back out there. I have a cool co-driver on standby for the next one. Next trip out for the local guys - you'd LOVE them and fit right in. New years. I'll get the exact dates soon, because I'm planning it. The LT-R is going, for at least a few rips so I can let loose, so @Moon Boots will have to ride with Kevin or Marco on those trips. I need to get that fucker back out there in the sand, on knobs, and fuk some shiit up with it.
  12. Found I couple pics that I knew I had - just been a busy couple of weekends, back to back... Saturday night sunset. We ended up rescuing a dude about 300 yards from camp that night. New owner, with his little kid, hung up on an 8-ft high hill, just buried it. That's what new people do out there, hammer down and get stuck. Here's the sunset... Saturday, during a day run, our buddy Mark STUCK his rig hard. We all turned and went back, and see this - no right rear wheel, no halfshaft, no trailing arm, no radius rod... I pulled up on the hill above him, and just look down about 15 yards, and I'm thinking... "Where the fuk is the right rear wheel, and I need to go look for it... somewhere downhill..." He just got way off-camber, and buried that thing, ALL THE WAY under sand. It didn't take long to get him out, but Joe gave it a good rip with his tow strap, on a 300hp rig, trying to rip him downhill. That ended badly, filling Mark's rig FULL OF SAND!... Mark looked like a sugar cookie about 0.2 seconds after Joe slammed the pedal... We ended up lifting the rig out, little at a time -pick it up by the roll cage, get the tire out of the hole, the sand fills in the hole underneath the tire. This is me, getting the mountain of said off the roof, so we weren't eating it lifting from the downhill side. Pic courtesy of @Moon Boots , up in the rig on top of the next ledge. That sand is 'UGE out there, men. Massive.
  13. If that is indeed the set, then this is the important information on that page: Functions with nearly all available DPMS pattern large frame parts Rail height is DPMS High DPMS thread pitch front bore
  14. I'm up now, brother. Call, if you're still up, or call me tomorrow night. Of the next night, or...
  15. That's hardcore, man. At least you're getting some LC brass outta the deal.
  16. Yes, it is, brother. I NEED you out here with the Gang of Deplorables sometime... 🥰
  17. Load 'em and process brass. You're thinking too much again, here. Cart before the Horse. Don't think too much about this, you're getting way too far out on it, Load for your gun, and stop worrying about other peoples headspace measurements are... They're not loading for your gun...
  18. Right? Rob is a dick. Sometimes. For that mile shot, I'll set that up anytime it works for both of you, just let me know... @Moon Boots and @blue109. That's all we'll do. I'll bring the gun, and ammo, and we do it until we all hit it. We already know the gun and load is capable of a one-and-done. I feel like I really need to rub that one in, deep, too... I don't know if I can stop rubbing that one in...
  19. Shiit, I just saw this. They gone now, damnit. EDIT - they had some CCI 41s available lower on the page, even though they were listed as OOS at the top of the page. I snagged a couple boxes. Thanks for the heads-up!!!
  20. Oooooooh SHEIT! This is gonna be good!
  21. Welcome aboard, Louu. Diggin' your profile pic, you're rippin' some sand pretty hard right there. I love it.
  22. That gun of yours is badass, brother. What alot of people don't realize... That cut-off Oxy tank is at 609 yards. It's not tall, and it's skinny. It's not easy to hit in daylight - shiit, even when you know where it's at, it's hard to find in direct sunlight. Now, the kicker... 55gr projectiles were never meant to go that far, even at an area target, much less a point target. 460 meters is the max effective range (point target, which is man-sized) for the M16A1 firing M193 ammo. If you have DOPE on some very good 75 or 77 gr ammo, and you switch over to 55gr range-trash ammo, obviously, your holds are gonna be different. For the 450 target, I have to hold 500 to get the 55s there. On that 609, you had to hold for 700 to get those 55s there. That's a badass task to pull off. You were crushing that thing...
  23. That's a badass pic, Doc! Look at the illum on all those targets!!! That came out great, brother!!!
  24. Come back up some weekend you're free, and that's all we'll do, brother. My 1-rounder was all luck, no matter how you disect it. I'll take it though. IF... you have a 1-MOA gun, and IF... you can make your own 1-MOA ammo... 1760 yards is a far piece. One real MOA at 1760 yards is 18.42 inches. That target is only 18" wide, and 26" tall. Wind call that's not quite there, or a wind direction change somewhere along that long flight path, or if the projectile hits a fucking bumble bee or something stupid like that - and it's not gonna hit the target. Might be close, but not a hit. I've been out there at times, and danced ALL AROUND that damn thing. Finally hit it on the 25th shot. My shot was luck, that morning. Don't tell anybody that, though. I'll deny it.
  25. That just means you need to search out some more of his work. You embraced it, so you're already with him. Let it go, brother... https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/407d32bf-9ebc-45fc-94b9-a965f3a8786e
