  1. That may not be a bad way to go - and that's another ARC, brother!
  2. HELL YEAH!!! The 6 ARCs are gonna thick as thieves come the Fall!!!
  3. Completely different recoil systems, is why. i took several things away from that paragraph that you stated - but I have to go back to the point that you don't even understand the differences in the recoil systems, or why there are difference recoil systems in the first place... Which is why I posted what I did.
  4. The very title of your thread is "Armalite Barrel..." ...and then you say you have a Faxon barrel. Your Faxon barrel is NOT an Armalite AR-10-based or patterned barrel.
  5. Neither is dropping $145k on another truck. I get it, it's a badass truck, but... Come on, Lotto!...
  6. LOOK at those things!!!
  7. Damn, brother... You have NICE HANDS... I'm not kidding, those things are sweet! No-Homo, here. Just admiring your hands...
  8. Check LBE Unlimited. They make the correct gas tubes, also. White Oak Armament will make you any gas tube that you want, when you give them the specs. EDIT - Did you look at the Armalite website, and see that they're on backorder, or did you call Armalite on the phone, and find out that they're on backorder? Calling them on the phone makes a difference. For real.
  9. That's why some solar systems (from certain companies) are inefficient, here in AZ. Because IT GETS FUCKIN HOT!!!... And those solar systems designers didn't know that. Some systems are great, some just completely suck ass.
  10. This is also why I encourage everybody I know to carry - conceal it or not, I don't care - but also have a rifle in your vehicle, that you can get to. Your pistol is only a means that you have on your body to defend yourself - so you can get to your PRIMARY means of defense - and that's a rifle. Pack a rifle, carry a rifle IN your rig. Always be near a rifle, or only far enough away - that you have enough pistol ammo to get back to it, when the shiit hits.
  11. I'd reload that brass, and wouldn't even sweat it a minute.
  12. Exactly. They're trying to put the band-aid on the wrong cut, if they're really worried about "stopping needless deaths." Same as always, though - disarm the population, and tell whatever wreckless story that they can spin, to do it.
  13. Retired from the Army in 2007, and didn't cut my hair for 3 years. Shiit was way longer than shoulder-length, all one-length long as fuk. There's a "Serial Killer" picture of me floating around here somewhere. @DNP remembers my "hair-phase..." Didn't have to get a haircut every week, like I did for 2 decades? LET THAT SHIIT OUT, MAN!!! When it turned into a pain in the ass to put a helmet on, I knew that I'd gone too far. Chopped it. Saved the long-ass ponytail, though, and Locks Of Love will never get that bastard... Won't ever do that gayass Man-Bun thing, though. Never. That's for the choad-smokers.
  14. ***Words of TRUTH, right there. I'd recommend it to everyone here, numerous times over.
  15. I sat on this story for 2 days, deciding when and how to launch it. It came through my SOFREP notifications several days ago. This pic, last night, had me realizing that I just needed to post it up, and let it ride.
  16. I didn't forget about Larry - he lived through it and made it out the other side, in one piece still. He was at the top of my mind, making this post, but I wanted to make sure I got the word out to the ones that are in the fight, right now, suffering through this bullshiit that has become "disrespect LEOs". I'm pretty positive that if somebody ever disrespected Larry, during an encounter - they'da been BOPPED RIGHT ON TOP OF THE HEAD, and sleeping on concrete immediately...
  17. DAAAAAAMN!... That guy REALLY built that thing badass! Finest conversion I've ever, EVER seen. If I had a spare $145k just laying around, that would be a done deal. I'm hoping that the lottery can help me pull this one off...
  18. I don't think there are any laws on the books concerning this - they can have all my guns, once they get by the fleet of trebuchets...
  19. GunTec USA makes GREAT armorer's wrenches. I've broken 3 or 4 in the past, but my GunTec is still working. It's not that combo that you're posting, just an AR15 wrench, but I've never destroyed it - and it's built a few guns. My MagPul armorer's wrench is my go-to these days, but it won't do alot of things on a .308AR - does everything on AR15s, and has a bottle opener integrated... Most .308AR handguards (and many AR15s) have the option to buy their barrel nut wrench when you get the handguard, and that is always the best way to go - because there is no standard. Handguard manufacturers can do whatever they want, whatever suits them, and we can't control that. For AR15s, I know Geissele, ALG Defense, LaRue,Troy, and Midwest Industries all have their own deal - get their wrench. Same with almost all of the .308s. Here's my barrel nut wrench collection:
  20. To many video games for that fucker, man - and not enough real trigger time, combined with ZERO military experience (as he was trying to imply). Glad the shiitweasel hasn't been back.
  21. Hey Rene...
  22. #1 Safety Measure for reloading, IMHO, is powder. Always empty your powder drop, what ever type you use, after you're done with that cartridge and powder. Then, always CHECK your powder drop and verify it's empty and clean, before you fill it up and start dropping powder on a series of cartridges. If you follow that, you'll never, ever drop 25.2 grains of pistol powder into a 5.56 case... That would be bad. Very bad. You cannot "double-charge" almost any rifle case, no matter what you hear on the internet. Not possible, as near as you have to fill the cases to capacity. If you drop a second charge into a rifle case, you're gona KNOW you did something wrong, because powder is gonna be spilling out everywhere. That's when you STOP, and figure out what happened, even though it's gonna be obvious when you see the mess... Wipe your plastic and metal powder drops out with dryer sheets every so often - that removes static electricity from the equation, completely.
  23. Baby steps, towards a newer, better me, man. Let me roll with it... I'm trying...
  24. You stated it - get a grip on that OCD.
