  1. Last count was 3 of them laying around, brother, not doing anything here. I have a billet Strike Industries unit that I use for all trigger testing/tuning. My bad - two LaRues, and one Ruger. The Strike is far, far superior. And way easier than doing something out of wood. Way more accurate than doing something out of wood, too. Time is money, and the amount of time that you invest into something, that someone has already made - alot of times, in life, that's not worth your time, or money, to try to make yourself. Just buy it, end the guess-work, and move on with life. Cheaper, and less stress, that way. I didn't invent the wheel, none of us here did. But, we make it go around, alot. My $0.02...
  2. He and Greg started it all. Rob started it with his insults, as SOON as he met me (and I didn't know he was BEHIND ME...)... Then, we proceeded to show each other what we were carrying. My daily at the time - which I thought was "adequate", was a loaded Springfiend XD-45 LE model with the thumb safety, two spare mags with extensions, one in the pipe, and an extra round in my pocket - so I could daily 45 rounds of .45ACP on me. Rob quickly embarrassed me, and proceed to take 17 guns OFF HIMSELF, to show me what his "daily" was... It was an OUTSTANDING first Pants-Down Hug, like no other, to date... He was pulling guns off himself EVERYWHERE... This was all circa 2011... @Robocop1051
  3. That's perfect. Leave it alone. .308 Win cartridge sucks for home defense, because of barrier penetration (over penetration), but there's nothing wrong with that configuration. Don't touch it. Research Box O' Truth on YT if you want to see what works for home defense, and over-penetration. TONS of vids on it. Search the early chapters.
  4. If either of you guys are confused about the amount of information that we need out of you, in order to diagnose a gun-problem that you're having, with the functionality of your own rifle - OVER THE INTERNET... then you need to read this thread, right here, in order to understand the amount of information that WE need... in order to diagnose the functional rifle problem that YOU are having... over the internet... It's all in the SPECS. Of your own gun. We need details, of your own gun, in order to even help you in the least. Whatever store you bought your parts from, and what they stated those were - are virtually useless - unless you've measure and weighed those parts in your own, and verified the specs, weights, lengths, coil counts on springs and wire diameters... Doesn't matter what vendor told you what - because so many vendors out there don't even know what the fuk they're talking about in the first place, when it comes to the large-frame platform. Measure, weigh, and spec out your gun parts, in accordance with this guidance below - or we're flying blind here. Details Matter...
  5. Both you guys need to read this, before you continue down this rabbit-hole of information that you'll find elsewhere on the internet. If this thread doesn't explain it (link below) - then ask your questions HERE IN THIS THREAD. NOT in the linked tread below... ASK HERE, about the information presented below... I hope I made that clear.
  6. This was gonna be fun, and you had to ruin it...
  7. Tell me how those prescription opioids are working out for you, long term... Michael Jackson's Doctor did nothing wrong, either, right?...
  8. Back in the day, I was a Precision Sniper with an M203. I have a severe love for that particular weapons platform.
  9. THESE RIGHT HERE!!! THESE are the kinds of gun-nerds that like to PM and argue with me about my own builds!.. If they weren't so fucking stupid, it would be funny!...
  10. I work for what I build - I don't get any "specials." The only "specials" that I get are the SPEDs that show up years later, asking me a question about some other guy's gun that's posted in my thread. There's a few reasons for that - I explain my guns and parts and performance, in detail, in my threads. Smart people that stumble upon them years later don't have any questions to ask me - it's all spelled out in the thread, everything. Secondly - the stupid people are only looking at pictures, and not reading details - then arguing with me about MY BUILD, but sending me a pic of some other guy's gun - that was in my build thread... About the ONLY time that I'll post one of my gun pics in someone's build thread is when they're asking something like "What DOES that 13.5" barrel look like with a 12" rail on it?!!!?" Then, I post a pic of that gun - AND it's details. Other than that, you won't see me bragging up a build in someone's build thread - for the reason's I've directly mentioned. I guarantee you that I'll have some shiithead asking me years from now why my 12.5" barrel is so long, in a PM. And I'll get a pic of your gun. And, I'll tell him he's DIRECTLY a fucking idiot for not reading the details. And then I'll get reported to the Mods and Admins, because I'm such a jerk, and there's no reason they should have such a mean person as a member of their message board, and their WHOLE BOARD should be cancelled because they condone this from their members. It's already happened, in the past. For Realz. I just tell the Mods and Admins to re-direct them right back to my inbox, and I'll settle it. I'm just gonna tell him that is was: Stop being lazy. Making a new thread ain't that damn hard.
  11. Not a good idea, so start your own. There's a simple reason for this, and it's IDIOTS AND FUKTARDS. Years from now, I'll have some dipdunk dumb fuk asking me questions about where I got the rail for my 12.5" 6 ARC build, and I'll tell him where I got it. Then he'll tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, because that's not the rail that I have on my gun. I'll proceed to tell him that he's totally fucking stupid, and I know what I built my gun out of, and he'll then insult me, telling me I'm a dickhead, and send me a pic of... What? YOUR RAIL. This will all go down in PMs, of course, like it always does... Make your own build thread. I'm not answering questions about your stuff, years from now. I've already been doing it for years, just for these reasons. It's not that hard to make your own thread. Then, you get to answer questions and comments about YOUR BUILD - in your own thread. And not clutter up mine with your information. Take the leap, make the plunge. Start your own topic on your own gun. Thanks.
  12. Ooooh. That right there, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy...
  13. You're gonna love it. What mount?
  14. We FaceTimed and hugged it out...
  15. OKay, I'm with you, brother - I'll make sure he doesn't find out!... Pssssh,.,,
  16. I hit him up yesterday, with a loving text... ❤️
  17. No, man! For real, it was different for about 1/2 hour~ Next time, I'm screen-shotting this shiit...
  18. DirtBike Tommy just picked up a Dillon 550, and he's just CRANKING out 9mm this weekend. I fully prepped 876 5.56 cases today on a single-stage, and I'm about all in... I either need to spring for a turret press, or a progressive, sometime soon...
  19. From Eric @ARTrooper- Faxon 6 ARC 16" midlength gas barrel, 0.750" journal diameter, 0.760" gas port diameter.
  20. Just changed back, for me. Weird. I detected a disturbance in the Force, and it was seen as well as felt. The board was weird for about 15~20 minutes...
  21. The board just changed. WTF?! Is this some shiit to make cell-phone access more easy? It's bullshiit...
  22. Making .300BLK out of good 5.56 brass is a time-consuming project - to do it right. I'm just sayin'.
  23. Indeed, we are less without him. I've spoken to him many times, in phonecalls, asking questions about parts and operations of the platform. I've received an education, a few minutes at a time, throughout the years. In the .308AR platform, he is a pioneer, and figured out how to make National Match rifles that won in National Match competitions - year after year. In reference to Service Match rifle construction, performance, and accuracy, he is at the very top of the list of people to listen to, when he speaks. His passing is very sad news, for this community. God Speed, Mr. McKee.

    Grilling

Built in, there's a hole in the bottom of it, inner chamber, and there's already a bolt in it when shipped - that's the port in the bottom of it to pass a wired thermometer through. That thought this thing out, brother.
