  1. https://www.newsmax.com/us/nra-guns/2021/01/15/id/1005836/ Friday January 15, 2021 NRA Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, 'Dumping' NY for Texas The National Rifle Association announced Friday it has filed for bankruptcy and will seek to incorporate the nation’s most politically influential gun-rights group in Texas instead of New York. The announcement made on the NRA's website comes months after New York’s attorney general sued the organization over claims that top executives illegally diverted tens of millions of dollars for lavish personal trips, no-show contracts for associates and other questionable expenditures. The coronavirus pandemic has also upended the NRA, which last year laid off dozens of employees, canceled its national convention and scuttled fundraising. Still, the NRA claimed in announcing the move that the organization was “in its strongest financial condition in years.” The NRA said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a Dallas federal court. “The move will enable long-term, sustainable growth and ensure the NRA’s continued success as the nation’s leading advocate for constitutional freedom – free from the toxic political environment of New York,” the NRA said in a statement. “The plan can be summed up quite simply: We are DUMPING New York, and we are pursuing plans to reincorporate the NRA in Texas,” wrote NRA CEO and executive vice president Wayne LaPierre. He stressed in his note to members that “no major changes are expected to the NRA’s operations or workforce.” The gun-rights group boasts about 5 million members. Though headquartered in Virginia, the NRA was chartered as a nonprofit in New York in 1871 and is incorporated in the state. Last year, New York Attorney General Letitia James said that her state was seeking to dissolve the NRA altogether. A suit contended that its leadership had shifted around some $64 million for personal use. “The NRA’s influence has been so powerful that the organization went unchecked for decades while top executives funneled millions into their own pockets,” James said in August, as recounted by CNBC in its report on the voluntary bankruptcy filing. “The NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse, which is why, today, we seek to dissolve the NRA, because no organization is above the law." In addition to dissolving the gun group, James wants the court to order past and current execs to pay restitution, the business news network noted. © Copyright 2021 The Associated Press. 2. ^^^ There's something else going on there, and it's not "under-gassed." Midlength gas tubes are 11.750" long. Armalite AR-10 "Carbine" gas tubes are 12 1/16" long... Longer than AR15 "midlength" gas tubes... The Wilson Intermediate gas system is a brand new animal, for everyone, at 13.250" long. If they "shrunk" the gas tube length, stating it's under-gassed at 13.25" - then there wasn't enough dwell time in that barrel config. Gas port diameter needed to go up, on that 13.25" gas tube, to make it run right. Or, keep the same barrel gas port diameter, and shorten the gas tube... UP the dwell time to make the pressure needed... There's more to that story, and I wish I had both barrel configs, to see what it really is... Someone's not being told the truth, here...
  3. You have 2, I have 5. All "rescues" in the real sense. Motherfuckers make me wanna scream sometimes, too. Assheads.
  4. When I was 32, I was bangin' a 21 year old Blonde bartender. Her name was Brianne, but to everyone, family included, she was "Breezy". Everytime someone states that, there's where my mind goes... Random Topic Thread, you know.
  5. That's YOUR job, brother, not mine... I've got Bitchy Cat - who seems to LOVE you... She's enough of that attitude...
  6. BITCH!!!
  7. OH YOU INSTIGATOR!!!!
  8. I LOVE your dirty hands. Turns me on. Working men are HAWT!!! ❤️
  9. H110 doesn't surprise me for this round. Accurate 1680 and IMR 3031 would work well, too. I'm DYIN' here on the vine to work up some load development for this fucker. You fucker. Any powder that works for .300BLK or M1 .30 Carbine is gonna be a stellar performer in this cartridge. Fatass heavy projectile, low case capacity, goal for subsonic performance. Winner. Pistol-speed powders in a rifle case.
  10. Hey fuckers - I have some badass cats. TactiCat The DogFighter is the baddest feline I've ever owned, even badder than Bart, the orange tiger cat that use to whip my Rott's ass daily, circa 1995. These two fucking blackass tiger cats are gonna be a challenge - these fuckers are crazy. Just over a year old, and WAY bigger than TactiCat. AND, they're assholes.
  11. You're literally fucking me over with this thread, and you know it. You Rat Bastard.
  12. I've seen this myself, and can confirm it. I could not get a PSA upper to close and pin to an Aero M5 lower.
  13. This is more of a concealment setup, not tactical. Lo-pro armor, under a jacket or shirt, etc.
  14. PMags and SR25 mags are the same pattern. It's the Armalite AR-10 mags that are different. Well, not the newer AR-10 A-Model, which is made to take the PMags.
  15. Nobody likes a quitter. @Matt.Cross can almost field his own baseball team now.
  16. That whole process almost killed you, brother. That was nuts. Wow, wrong words to use in that, but you know what I mean. That was crazy.
  17. "The Strange Guy" that showed up in the 5-ton with the 1919 in the bed - that I KNEW, from working on his turbo'd shiit!... That got you, didn't it, brother. Now you want one...
  18. That Hogue on the left in the pic is a badass knife. Mine is a twin, just FDE...
  19. That's a Russian round, that 7.62 x 54. You try to chamber one of those things in your gun, and successfully get it to go off - and we'll See You On The Other Side... SYOTOS...
  20. ^^^ That's a great update, man - very well done. Your thread should almost be a sticky or pinned here in this section, just to let others know what they need to do to a PSA PA-10 to make it run.
  21. ^^^ AND... Back In The Day... when the military was testing 7.62 NATO ammo, the way to measure pressure was completely different than the methods used to test and measure the civilian equipment/ammo...
  22. Enough lube on a new gun, along with total round count. These big things do need to break in, and break in wet.
  23. He gets a Pass - if he brings a 500 BlackOut with him...
  24. I'll jump in on this, too, with my last experience. I ordered a complete upper from LaRue Tactical. Ordered on June 17th. Pandemic-Bullshiit in FULL SWING, too. Called a week later, and asked, "What am I looking at here, time-wise"... Oh, 1~3 months. Okay, just looking for a timeline, got one. Called at the end of month ONE, being hopeful, you know... Same guy on the phone, too. He says, "Oh, that'll be 2~4 months..." Alright, I get it. Called at the end of month 4, same guy on the phone, says, "Oh, what YOU ordered is 5~6 months..." Alright, I'm getting frustrated, but I get it... I broke it all down to him on the phone, during that call. You told me this, then this... but I understand their side of it, too - WITH EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING ON... So, I call AGAIN at the end of month 5... and I think he recognized my phone number or something. He breaks right out with, "You were told that this was a 6-month minimum for this order..." and we talked. No, it was never a 6-month minimum for my order - but I GET IT. So, I'm ready to call them again on December 17th - the first day of the 7th month... and I get tracking information on the 16th of December... Hey, TIMES ARE TOUGH if you're a GUN MANUFACTURER. Not if you're some CUSTOMER SERVICE call-center guy for a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, WAY BACK IN 1981. So don't toss this shiit in here, like you know the Gun Industry. Don't try to compare the Gun Industry to some house-cleaning service, and tie it all together with some "People expect products in a timely, quality manner" bullshiit. I told you earlier, you're not comparing apples to oranges. You're trying to compare apples to hammers, in an Industry that you do NOT understand. Trying to yank the "Customer Service and Quality Products in a Timely Manner" doesn't have a single thing to do with the Gun Industry, during a year of UNPRECENDETED DEMAND FOR THEIR PRODUCT. What you're stating, doesn't even compare, during a normal year... So, get off the high horse, stop whining about it - and either cancel your order and move on - or shut the fuk up already, and wait PATIENTLY for your order to come through. You'll GET what you ordered. It's just not gonna be on your unrealistic timeline, during the times that we're all facing. You're lucky that you got to order one at all, in the first place. By the way - have you looked for AMMO for your gun yet? Good Luck...
  25. There was lot's of study over the years, but the in-depth crash course, with one-on-one instruction and practice, was a couple years ago at the Fall Shoot. That was invaluable training, right there, and really upped my proficiency level. He was schmammered, as was I, so it made it much easier to pick up on all the little nuances...
