Just bumping this one up a little - this is a great weekend for you brothers to try this one out.

Got any older ones, where you can measure the side-to-side dimension of the receiver magwell? I can provide measurements on 3 different receivers, if you want to check that out. I've never had issues with the BX-25s or the 10-rd rotaries in mine. Come to think of it, no issues with the Butler Creek Steel Lips 25s, either, in any gun. I've got an old 1973 all-metal gun, and I must say, it likes it's original rotary mag way better than any of the newer rotaries, though. Newer ones are tough to get out, but go in easy. Other than that, zero other mag issues with any of them, when using the larger-capacity mags.

^^^ Yep, I hit them up a couple days ago, added it to cart, and it let me. They're gonna get a call tomorrow morning, just to check. So, in addition to search for ANY VLTOR A5 buffer I could try to find, I was also searching for that specific VLTOR SP-A5 kit right there, because it comes with the H2 already. Struck out on all that, too. The stuff is GONE, brothers... Bonus, though - while I was on that page, I found this badass Morgan Reese poster: I'm not worried about finding one now, anymore. I've got it solved. Armalite AR-10 Carbine Receiver Extension, Armalite M15 rifle recoil spring, and the Slash buffer will get this job done. Transplant that Slash buffer into the M4, rebuild THAT buffer, done deal. Here's where this poor lonely little lower sits right now, just to dress it up a little.

Well, brother, I greatly appreciated that, I really do. But this has me in a mess right now... For the last 3 days now, I've been looking for a VLTOR A5H2 buffer, 5.33oz. Nothing. Anywhere. Nobody from all across the interwebz has ANY VLTOR A5 buffers in stock - because I'd MAKE that thing the H2 by changing weights in it... Gotta be that buffer, in this gun, in order to compare it to the Grendel and the Valk. Properly compare it, all of them. Damnit!... So, I did what any normal person would do. I ordered a 5.5oz A5 buffer from Slash, @ http://heavybuffers.com/ No other way around it. So, that's not going to be a VLTOR A5H2, weighing 5.33oz. But, I'll put it in the 16" Grendel M4, take the A5H1 buffer out of THAT gun, and change a weight - to make it the same exact thing as the A5H2. FML...

Bet I can call them on the phone Monday morning when they open, then swing by about noon and pick it up.

That little dude is some kind of limited edition orange. I didn't necessarily pick that color, but it was wrapped into a pretty sweet package deal. The FDE annodize is where my heart is - shocker there, I know... So with that, here's the Odin weapons light. This right here is ONE BADASS LIGHT. ^^^ That gun used to rock a Surefire E2D Executive Defender light, in a VLTOR offset mount. Not anymore - not after getting this Odin.

Alright, alright. Last night got late, and I had to work today. Here's a vid of it, I'll grab some pics as well. I'd buy it again - I'd buy another one. Tiny little bastard, weighs very little. Nice headband. The light has a clip on it, and that clip runs through a barrel on that little velcro slap-patch. It'll rotate up and down, to change angle (or left to right, it you mount it vertical). That little slap-patch sticks to a velcro section on the headband, so... You can remove it: And you can stick to anything else that's got velcro on it:

That's not bad for a complete rifle. Ask @edgecrusher how long he waited for his OBR - and when he ordered it, it was still called the OSR. Look up the history on the LaRue OSR... Giant BigDickhead Swan took offense to this. And filed a lawsuit. Cockwagon that Dick Swan is. The LaRue OSR had to change to the LaRue OBR - because of Dickhead Swan. Fuk Dick Swan. This guy is a reloading NINJA, and this is the best info I've found so far on reloading this 6 ARC. There is almost nothing substantial out there yet... This guy rocks. Interestingly enough - he's using all Heavy 5.56 powders, or Heavy .308 Win powders. I have tons of that stuff sitting around.
