  1. ^^^ "He called the $hit POOP!!!..." <lmao>
  2. I've had some other trigger groups that come with pins with one groove each, but I can't remember what they are exactly. One pin with a groove in the center, other pin only has a groove towards the outside. Not very common, but used in other triggers out there, too.
  3. I'll bet Laz personally restored all those rifles in that vid. He's probably the only person on the planet that is qualified to do so. <thumbsup>
  4. You might have missed it, but I said they were ProMags yesterday... <lmao>

Don't worry - he won't listen to me. He doesn't listen to me when I'm standing directly beside him... <lmao> Hell, last time we were out, we almost blew up Shibi. That doesn't have anything to do with Mike, but rest assured, Mike won't listen to me no matter what...
  6. I'd like to know where you read that at. You better get your headspace checked. Either buy gauges, or take it to a gunsmith that can check it. And start a tech thread already. Your intro thread is not where tech info goes. You're only fucking yourself here, for the very reason I stated before. :bitchslap:

That boy is outta control... :ugone2far: <laughs>
  8. Yep, .338 Fed short rifle, 14.5" pinned. My dream Texas hog gun. Got a very good buddy that left the motorcycle business and moved to the family business in Tejas. Permanent invite to come to his place and crush hogs. This oughta do it, I think... <lmao> EDIT - did some Google-Fu and found an account of an 8"-barreled short .338 Fed that was pushing 220gr projectiles at 2,000fps. I don't think it's gonna have a hard time through a 14.5" barrel. Now for the bad news - I'll be waiting 6~12 weeks on a custom barrel...
  9. Blue, that could also be a single-stack 10mm mag. I've had both single-stack .45ACP and 10mm mags side by side, and sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. I'm betting more on 10-rd .45 than anything else. It's not a Chip McCormick or a Wilson Combat mag, nor a Kimber or Colt mag. EDIT - found that bitch. It's an older ProMag extended 1911 mag.
  10. Feel like it'll snag on a shirt when concealed? I just put the MagPul 1911 grips on a pistol - the "really grippy ones" - those things are great to hold/handle, but they're gonna rip up a couple of my shirts, I just know it. Eh, it is what it is.
  11. They don't even realize what they did yet, but it's fucking FUNNY!!! <lmao> They dicked the dog on this one, by what they based it on - 14th Amendment - in order to ram it to every/all states that had laws against it. Speaking of gay marriage here... Now, they just screwed states that didn't honor CC reciprocity. I wonder how many of the states that were against gay marriage were also against the CC reciprocity... Those "doubles" are takin' it twice... <laughs>
  12. ^^^ Right. The instruction card that comes with the PRS specifically states to use the shorter screw - the stock even comes with it. In basic, you tried to use the longer A2 screw in an A1 setup - the reason they tell you it won't work is because you'll slam the bumper on the buffer on the extended screw.
  13. I know what I'm doing with mine... 14.5" pinned, running this one on the left...
  14. I'd bet if you send him pics of the 5.56 wrench design, plus the 7.62 barrel nut, he could make it, it would look badass, work badass, and probably get you some dates... <thumbsup>
  15. We've got the answer for ya. PM inbound.
  16. Yep. <thumbsup>

Nothing wrong with FDE. If there was something wrong with FDE, then God wouldn't have made rabbits, squirrels and deer out of it.
  18. We HAD to distract you. You might not have realized it, but you healed faster because of it. <thumbsup> <laughs> Those two women ROCKED that shotgun, too...

    Veti-Gel

    Not "unpainful." Chemical cauterization.
  20. I'm sharing that one at work... <lmao>
  21. Yep, with heat-cure Cerakote, you vary the amount of Hardener in the paint mix in order to vary the level of "Flat/Semi/Gloss" outcome.
  22. That was funny, coming from you... <lmao> THAT was fucked up... you can go eat a bowl of dicks, and snack on a bag of smashed a$sholes... :fawkdance:
  23. HELL YEAH!!! Damn glad to see you back, Pat!!! :ecs: Gawd Dammit, Rob, quit falling down... :bat: I think... I think... I think... alot. I think your name is already out there, to those that know. I think we need to get your name out there to everyone else... ...And start a 308AR/AR15 Armorer's course. YOU are the credentials, brother. YOU are the Armorer's School. Grad Certs read: Pat Raley's AR Armorer's Course. You know that will work, but it take's time to mainstream your name. Those in the know already know you, so run a few courses, in places that make geographic sense. Start small, with 3 a year, 4 a year, just in your spare time - literally. No $hit, it won't take long to make it bigger than that. You'll never have to travel overseas, just CONUS. Hell, you can even avoid places you dislike, and only hit the places you like - people will travel. Pat: "What am I supposed to do with my life?..." Jim Morrison: "You should build an AR Armorer's Course, Pat..." Pat: "How am I gonna get the students to come?..." Jim Morrison: "If you book them, they will come..." You need to market YOU, brother. Nobody in this industry can do what YOU can do, or has the history that YOU do, man. That's no BS. I'll even lay down money that if you book something close to Idaho, we can get a weird naked Indian to the course... <lmao>
  24. Right now? Rainier. Oh, and POF. I'm hoping Faxon Firearms gets one going - if not, I'll be cutting one down.
  25. Looks like 0.020" - at least. Shave it, and it'll run. <thumbsup> I'd like to see a measurement from yours - my AP catch actually touches the upper when closing and pinning, and it moves it a little - but not enough to engage the catch on the bolt face and hold the bolt back. Thickness on mine (measured diagonally, so the vernier caliper doesn't slip into a groove on the face) is 0.165".
