ChaseFan9 Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Hey y'all, I've had this site on my favorites forever and decided to sign up finally. I'm actually starting my first AR-10 build and could use all the help I can get. I'm building on a matched Matrix Aerospace stripped upper and lower. I've got a free float m1913 quadrail handguard made by Matrix specifically for this receiver, but I need a good set of upper vise blocks and an armorers wrench/barrel nut wrench. My barrel nut has 6 slots in it that are evenly spaced out, but I cannot seem to find a wrench that'll work. I've heard good things about the Gem State Armorer's Wrench, but they're always out, is there anywhere else I can get one? Anyways, I hope you guys can help me out, and I'm glad to finally join up
912dawg Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Nice to have you here. Good to see some more Georgia boys here. What part of SE Ga? I'm in Liberty, just had a guy from Camden join, too. Good luck on the build. Sorry but I don't know where to send you for the wrench.
slugger43 Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Welcome from Washington! Can't help you with the wrench, but I just got a set of these blocks, and they appear to be very good. My son also has a set, and loves 'em. http://www.plastixrevolution.net/collections/ar15-vise-blocks

Rsquared Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 Welcome aboard. I'd start with the manufacture of the rail. They should have the nut wrench you need.
