planeflyer21 Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 I hope his loaner has enough horsepower to get him to Starbucks still. <laughs> <lmao> Maybe they have an old Chevette he can drive.
survivalshop Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 Just look how many people are wrecking all these hot rod factory cars on the first day of ownership & I can understand a engine with only six miles on it blowing . First hole shot was probably 12,000 rpms . ( or as close as he could get to it till it blew ) <lmao>

392heminut Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 That's not a piece of a piston in the pic, it's part of the connecting rod cap. I'm betting the rod bolts weren't torqued right!
ChaseFan9 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 That's not a piece of a piston in the pic, it's part of the connecting rod cap. I'm betting the rod bolts weren't torqued right! Thank you, I was wondering if anyone would notice <lmao>
survivalshop Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 It is a part of the Piston Assembly . <dontknow> ( connecting rod , Rod Cap & piston & rings ) <laughs>
