They still haven't sent me shipping/tracking information, and wouldn't answer the phone this morning. The mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message... I kinda figured that was what would happen - they're proving it to me right now...

Not as much fun when I've gotta pay for the damn phone! Airhorn. Small marine airhorn. Works everytime. Yeah, likely the best solution. Or even one of those whistles with the little pea in it. Works great, but I still miss the phone slam... Guess I'm just some kind of a damn phone Neanderthal. <dontknow>

For a couple weekends in a row, they've run the 20% Off for everything they have. The first weekend through it, there was an issue with the 20% in the computer, on order receipt, and they had to sort that out. The next weekend it went 20% again, and everything went through just fine. When they left on Friday, they had 55 orders left to process from the previous weekend. When they came in Monday morning, they had 1,000 orders to process, after that second weekend sale. He guaranteed me that he had all my items are in stock, and they would ship today or tomorrow - I told him no worries, and they didn't have to ship that fast. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't a system issue, and that my order actually hit - and it did. If it ships fast, cool. If it doesn't ship fast, I know it'll ship once they get caught up. I don't have all the other parts for that damn rifle anyway... <laughs> They're still in good graces with me. <thumbsup>

Never got an answer. Emailed again on the 24th, never got an answer. Got an email yesterday notifying me that it shipped. STILL no answer about why the discount didn't show up. Going to my credit union today before work to put a hold on the payment. THEN maybe we will see how quick they answer!! Ray.

It gets delivered Saturday. I told him he didn't need to rush, I just wanted to make sure my order was okay in the system - he said he'd do it anyway. And he did. Anyone else watching their "steeply discounted" price gradually creep up? 98 had me scared for a day or two, but i think I'm going to pull the trigger on one next time i get that 20% off coupon before the good price evaporates to cover lost business. I miss Dimitri...that dude was a take no shite wordsmith of the highest order. I could not believe the ATF ars kissing delivered by the suit...

ChaseFan9 Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 Ares talks all big about their NiB coating process, but the coating started to fold slightly after the first round and has started to chip off of the face of one of the locking lugs, and I just hit the 25 round mark on the entire setup.
