ok gents, for the moment you've all been waiting for. i think that robo is half right, it almost looks to be part of the brake though, like it is a sleeve. the qd can is supposed to slide on and there is a twist mechanism to lock it in place and i believe it has to do with that. the first one is from the left side, if you click on the pic to enlarge you can see what i mean by it being a sleeve of sorts. then we have top, bottom, and 3/4 right side. what do you got for me, because now inquiring minds want know. btw, for those who don't know, i don't have the can, not legal in mass, bastards >:(

I haven't done the sighting in yet, but in shadow ops basement training….. transition isn't all that bad. For me, it's like a transition drill from prone to standing, moving the rifle into position as I get up. I like them, they fold nice and tight against the rifle, and are easy sights to acquire when deployed
