shepp
haha we have bubblahs too I knew there was a section of the NE that used the term too. The reason behind that term here is they were made north of Milwaukee. oh and I forgot a brat with kraut and mustard
unforgiven
The road signs saying "use ya blinkas" cracked me up,also.I was in Providence day after John Jr. crashed his plan.Really like the whole North eastern area.Brother Toolndie and the post on tools with the vice grip you had the right idea with that setup.I take the ring from electric motors cut off the threaded part and weld it to the adj. screw on the vice grip.I also put a tack where the metal wraps arond the adjustment screw. Then I can stick a pin or screwdriver through the ring to crank down to grip or draw together parts.Sorry for taking so long to respond.I have a good memory but it's short. :) Edited December 20, 2015 by unforgiven
Sharkey
Olneyville New York System is the original and still the best. The Mrs and I take the boys about once every other month. I took my wife there as a surprise when we were first dating after she mentioned her grandfather used to bring her there and we made it a regular thing after that.I wouldn't go claiming they are the most nutritious things you'll ever eat but man do they hit the spot. Anyone visiting should also know that if you leave a tip of $10 or more, they'll ring the bell and all throw out a thank you. It's a small hole in the wall kinda joint and they don't get many decent tips so if you go, take good care of the guys behind the counter and they'll treat you and the family like gold.We even have a full set of Olneyville New York System glasses and coffee mugs.I used to go there on late patrol all the time and by 2 or 3am, we wouldn't even need to run the heater - even with the windows wide open....lol

jtallen83
After a winter in Cape Cod last year I'm very sympathetic towards our North east Brothers! You have to put up with some socialist chit! Food and beer is great though!
