I'm looking for a mid-range hard case that can accommodate a 308AR (~38" long) as well as a second complete upper that's about the same length.  I've got shorter Plano cases for my AR15, and they work great.  I was looking at this one, but not sure both the full scoped-rifle plus the second upper will fit.

Im a fan of soft cases they fit better in tight spaces. I like the vodoo bags with 2 gun compacity in a backpack option.. With mag pouches . I also have some allen soft cases for a desent price range? Hard case and a smaller compartment (hatch) dosnt work well with others?

Also my reasoning for soft case they dont take up much room empty?  I have 4 hard cases collecting dust! I wonder if i have shits in them i should be using..?

Thanks, but I need a hard case for my specific situation.

may be a little more than you want to spend but you cant beat a pelican for a hard case. A 1720 should meet your 38" requirement with a 42" interior.

I recently added some kaizen foam inserts to my 1750. I cut different inserts with a home made hot wire cutter so I can have lots of configurations with one case

Botach tactical has had some great deals on pelican cases lately. As always with botach, order at your own risk. They have a rep.

Don't order anything back ordered from them. Don't pay with paypalPayPal

I've gotten about 95% of the stuff I've ordered from them lol.

Sometimes they post a deal too good to ignore. I just always plan on a refund so I'm happy if it actually shipps and not overly disappointed if it doesn't.

I got pissedat them when the "customer service" lady couldn't figure out why I wouldn't give her my credit card info over the phone because I couldn't pay for mags with pay pal. I even told her I'd had my info stolen to much and I didn't wanna risk it....

If you get the PayPal debit card it can be used on anything. It is a Mastercard linked to your PayPal balance and has to be accepted everywhere Mastercard is. I have bought 4 or 5 guns with mine and have never been questioned. Try that with your standard PayPal account and they will lock it. Get the debit Mastercard if you do not want another credit card.

It isn't a credit card. It is a Mastercard debit card. No credit line tied to it. It is tied to your PayPal balance. If you don't have funds in your PayPal account it will decline.
