also heard reported that one guy was trading in an old broken gun to buy a new one

But shepp, jeez, if they only save one life, or prevent one injury...(you could drop that fake gun on your foot), it's all worth it..  Now c'mon, don't ya feel all warm and fuzzy and a whole lot safer?  No?  lmao   $25000 up in smoke.

Guy at work gave me a broken little .25 Raven. He didn't want to spend any money on it and it was missing a couple parts. Figured I would send it off to buy-back heaven if we ever had another one, but curiosity got the best of me and $14 later and a box fron numric gun parts and it was Poppin away. Ended up trading it for the BCG that's in my matrix gun lol.

Hmmm, I'm a plumber and have lots of 20' sticks of black iron pipe and 2"x4"s.  It looks like a 12ga model with 3/4" black iron pipe ... would I need to register as a manufacturer if I were to assemble a bunch of shottys this way for a buy back program?  Maybe make some models in "20ga" so i can use 1/2" pipe and 1"x4"s to maximize my ROI.

Likely there's a limit as to how many you can turn in.......so maybe you make them, send me a few, and I turn them in, and we split the profits....

Oh, no, can't do that....wouldn't that make me a straw SELLER?

I've got two junk guns I've been sitting on, waiting for a butback to pop up in my area. One is an old 38 S&W revolver that I'd be scared to shoot because the timing is so bad and the other is an old .22 bolt action rifle that has a stuck bolt. Both were left to me by an old guy that my wife and I took care of during his last years.
