Veterans ?

So how many of you are Veterans?  for all of you Thank You for your service from another Vet (69-71).  also how many of you use Vortex scopes?  the reason for the two questions I found out that if you register with Vortex, and send them a copy of your DD214 (email is best) you will receive a discount direct when you purchase direct from them and I believe it is 40%.  so I am off to cabelas to find the reticle and power I want and then going to get it direct.  if you all knew of this before just sit back and have your coffee while you read this. LOL

I hadn't heard about that, but Google took me right to the info/registration page. Looks like a similar program to what trijicon started and then bailed out on. Might do it just to see the deals! Good on vortex.

 Interesting  , I've been looking at one of Vortex scopes . I have their one of their Red dot Strikefire's .

 40% is OK, as long as you can't find it cheaper soemwhere else .

I'm finding the discount won't help much, the scope you asked about would be $689. I checked the Razor HD lineup prices and found the same thing, cheaper on several sites than using the discount. Looks like they are basically recruiting Vets and LEO's as free salesman with the referral program.

Same as the trijicon deal...40℅ off inflated MSPR tends to be about the same as internet sale pricing

RCNut, I was in the Army Reserve from '00-'08, with a tour in Iraq from '03-'04. Thanks also for your service, and for the discount head's up.
