I am assembling my first 308 semi auto rifle and I am having trouble deciding on which muzzle brake to get.  I read the thread on the muzzle brake which narrowed it down to a few different choices...

Primary weapons FSC30

Precision Armament M11

Precision Armament M41

and VG6

What I have already is the Christensen Arms AR-10 Cheese Grader Barrel Size-Type: 16" 308 Win 1:10 Twist Mid Length Gas DPMS style, Mega Arms MATEN MEGALTHIC Rifle Keymod Upper and AMBI Lower Set, AR10 A2 Rifle Stock Completion Kit, Luth AR MBA-1 rifle stock and a La Rue MBT 2S trigger.

I plan to shoot from approximately 600 yards and in from a prone position.  I am looking for the MB to mostly mitigate recoil to stay on target for a quick follow up shot(s), with some flash suppression.

I am also looking for a BCG as well.  I do not know what are some quality BCG's to even look at.

Thanks for your input.

I've got one of these MBM Beast brakes. For pure recoil reduction you can't do better for the money. My 308 feels like a 5.56. I didn't realize how massive the difference was until I fired it back to back with a 308 bolt gun. It's amazing.

Down Side is the sonic boom that punches the next bench in the face if you care about that sort of thing.

:laffs:

My Miculek brake does the same thing, at least that is what my shooting buddy says.  He usually moves 2 or 3 benches down when I have the .308 with the Miculek out.

Add that to the matrix gun slinging brass 20', not the most neighbor friendly gun.  The range rents out those brass catching panels, but the rso came over and gave me one.

I have a feeling my x39 is gonna be like that I was just checking mags and cycling it with the charging handle and it was tossing rounds across the room 5-6'

Thanks for the response Magwa.  I was thinking about the Brakeout 2, but I'm not looking for a suppressor in the near future.  I saw some reviews and testing on the original Brakeout, but could not find any testing on the Brakeout 2.

Thanks Blue109 for the picture and input.  I do like the look and reduction of the brake, but I like my friends a little better and do not back out we I ask them to shoot with me.
