Saw that Brownells is selling these now. I had noticed them on ebay but they seem to be going mainstream now. Looks like it also doubles as anti-rotation/anti-walk trigger pins. When you figure that into the $79.99 cost it isn't that high.

Wonder if it clears BADASS safeties?  Watching the vid now, and I picked up on it when he says it completely clears your mil-spec safety...

I absolutely love ingenuity, and I encourage creativity… But why would I spend 80 bucks for something that does exactly what magpul, tactical link, and phase 5 have already perfected for less than $30???

Not really the same thing. I'm not a fan of messing around inside the trigger guard for anything other than pulling the trigger so this system solves that issue for me. IF I can run it with my right thumb then I can see more advantages yet.

This is where my Asian harpist fingers have the advantage over people like Tom and their catchers mit paws lined with gnarled big toes.

I have so much time invested in using the battery assist, I’d be on an entirely new learning curve with my thumb.

Fucker.   :laffs:

I love using a MagPul BAD lever on a precision gun.  Makes tons of sense, and works great in that role.  Proned out, shooting, you run everything right there, laying down.  You can clear it and lock the BCG to the rear, drop BCG on new mag, all of it.

Without one, you gotta get all weird, roll up on your side to clear long ARs, fuk that.  Make life easier.  Run a BAD lever.

I don't see any benefit for a lefty.

im no lefty but i agree on the bad lever for the win. if i was a lefty i would "dremel" the hook off and have it just at the top of the trigger hole. or maybe a hair or two lower .. simple. The vet is a lefty so ill give him a try when i get a break from work?
