Hello Gentlemen... New to the board. Found this place searching the web lo for parts for a rifle of mine. I recently picked up an AR 10 (T) with the 12" free float tube style hand guard. I'm looking for a standard rail kit to attach to the bottom of the handgaurd but dont want to order something that isn't going to match up. I've been to the armalite website and have been waiting awhile for their rail kit to come back in stock but like I said... been awhile and no word... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome from AZ  - attach a pic of the rail you have, in order to get accurate recommendations. Armalite has bombed their market with a bunch of new shiit in the last couple years, so we need to know what you have, first.  Rail pic, then recommendations will flow.

Gonna be tough - got measurements between those holes?  You might need to get a polymer section of pic rail, and drill it.  A long aluminum section would do the same thing, but it's easier to drill/measure/practice on a poly section.  MagPul makes long poly sections, as well as other vendors.

The distance between the mounting holes are right at 1.5 ". I've looked but I can't find any specs on an aftermarket rail kit that gives me the measurements between the holes.... I've honestly thought of drill and tap the rail but would rather find one that fits it.

We're here for you, throughout the process, make no mistake.  Us AZ guys are Thick as Thieves, here...

Don't go drilling into something expensive, right off the bat, man. Drill cheap things, and figure it out... :thumbup:

I'm thinking your right 98Z5V. Just came across the atlas BT33 2.05" rail kit and I'm more than likely gonna dress her with an atlas bipod so I think I'll try that. If it don't work I'll drill and tap it... I appreciate your time.

If you need it for a bipod and the BT33 doesn't fit why not just get a bipod stud adapter like this one;

Other versions;

This one shows it mounted to a tube very similar to yours, GG&G is solid stuff;
