Why won't someone make a 30-06 AR? The brass is far more plentiful and cheaper than .300 Win mag (or .338 Lapua mag) and anything the .308 can do the 30-06 can do better.

Yes, I've seen an occasional pic of someone's 30-06AR, but I wonder if it isn't a prototype or a one off, rather than a production rifle.

 I BELIEVE IT WAS NEMO, A COUPLE YEARS AGO CREATED A 458 WIN MAG AR 10 .I GUESS IT WAS TO EXPENSIVE  .SURE WOULD BE A GOOD DAY AT THE RANGE THOUGH.
