A good man. Who worked along side of great people (Carroll Shelby comes to mind) to help bring you cars like the GT350, the GT500 and later (working with Mr. Shelby still) brought you the Cobra (now that was more Shelby obviously than Lee). Ford supplied the engines that Carroll tuned. The all American race car that took back Lemans from Ferrari.

And we can't forget about the Dodge Viper in his (and Shelby's) later years.

Tip of the hat to you my good man for bringing muscle cars to the public arena. (we won't count the whole K-car thing from Chrysler)

Sleep well my friend.

I remember Lee as a stand up guy,  paying back that big loan when most others ran for cover.  He was one of those big men that reminded us all of who we are,  and who we ought to be.  He will be remembered.
