It's a Shockwave, Eric - it's a14" barreled Mossberg 590.

It made the shockwave too short. It only measured 24”, so I had to add the +1 tube with the standoff tip. Now it’s 26.2” again. 
 

and you can take a decent core sample if needed.

Does that have to be permanent like a pinned and welded muzzle device? Before you jokesters comment I realize the extension is not on the barrel just don’t know what the rule is

I was thinking "BRILLIANT Breacher Standoff, right there!"  Plant that thing and it's not moving.  Turn your head so you don't eat wood, BOOM!

They haven’t gotten that specific yet. It’s not a specific part that has to be a specific length. It’s the entire firearm, in its most compact configuration, measured in a linear length. It used to be that the unfolded stock was ok to measure from. Then ATF arbitrarily made the decision to measure with the stock folded.
