shooterrex
The gen2 p80 Glock frames I just finished were easy. I used a pocket knife, egg beater type hand drill, file, and a dremel. No milling like the first gen stuff. 2nd gen has metal rails in the rear too.

Thanks, It wasn’t bad at all, would have been easier if I had used a Dremel. I don’t have one, so I did the filing by hand. It took me a while fitting the slide, but I also wasn’t trying to rush it. No drill press, just used a standard Dewalt drill.
shrade
I took a different approach, similar to You tubes marinegunbuilder. Used a flush cut nippers, files and sandpaper to do the rails. I used a drill press, contrary to P-80 advise, I felt I had much better control than a hand drill. Finished the recoil guide rod channel with a small dikes and a dremel.

shrade
Check out "marinegunbuilder" on Youtube, he is a bit long winded but does a good job. Then dive in!

Thanks, Poly80s are super easy, brother - VERY much so, with a hand drill. I think the first one took me 45 minutes, Completed the next two in a total of 45 minutes. The speed picked up on those others when I clipped most of the tabs off the tops of the frames, instead of filing the whole things off.
