Look into MSR.  Good water purification isn't cheap, but it won't get you infected, either. MSR has always made phenomenal water purification products. I know about where it is and I will use the terrain, and all the cover and other factors I can to remain undetected. Around here getting home will mean cross country and that is hard work because everything is steep so plan well and use every bit of topography to your advantage...
