Question

Is a LR308 and the DPMS the same pattern?  Been awhile ( pre pandemic) since I ordered parts and having trouble remembering the differences  

Looking at a ToolCraft bolt for my Aero build

One side note that I forgot about. Rock River called their 308's LR-308. So if that's what you were asking about specifically, then the answer would be no. Rock River is their own animal. Different enough from DPMS and Armalite that not all parts will work.

I'm not sure about early versions, but they are now (at least since 2013 when I got mine) called LAR-8.

Ah. You're right Doc. I was seeing LAR-8 in my head instead of LR-308.

^^^  Yep, the RRA has always been a LAR-8.  Its identical twin is the Bushmaster BAR-10.  Identical in every way, and the BAR-10 was the design that RRA bought from Bushmaster, to get into the game.

I don’t think it’s what is meant. See below for the description and after more checking I believe this will work in an Aero Precision receiver with a Ballistic Advantage barrel both in Dpms pattern.
