soofley
which one would you guys prefer? i'm kind of leaning towards the c-product(or other classic stainless steel mags).C-Products 20rnd .308 magazine or Pmag 20 round .308 magazine? i love the pmags on my ar15's but they a pain to stack on top of each other. So i just use Pmags as my range mags and use the classic mags as my stacked loaded mags. But the pmag is way smother when feeding ammuntion because there's very little friction between the brass and the plastic pmag
Robocop1051
Magpul has changed everything about the magazine dynamics. I probably have 30 standard AR15 mags, and ever since I tried my first PMAG I have been slowly converting over. For my .308 I started in PMAGs right off the bat. Stacking mags wasn't as important to me as performance and weight.
unforgiven
I have a few metal mags mostly P-mags for 5.56 just called RRA and thier poly mags are on back order, the bugs are worked out and are available for Lar-8.So coupler devices don't work for P-mags? Shoot on bro.
Timing
I'm converted to pmags here, haven't used a metal ar15 mag in years. Once time came to get some 7.62 mags I never thought of looking anywhere else. For what it's worth my pmags have all fuctioned flawlessly in both platforms. Shaggy
P-Mags are all I use. The factory DPMS mags that came with my SASS had a FTF, but no issues with the P-Mags. The factory steel mags are sitting on top of my gun safe collecting dust, never to be used again.
