One of my best (female) friends is Ukrainian and the inspiration for this article. She's one of my best lady friends for a reason but she also beat the tar out of one of her uncles employees after he assaulted her uncle. And that's no joke or exaggeration.

I've never been on her bad side and hopefully never will be.

My wife is Ukrainian, so I probably know more about this than many of you. I will say that from my experiences in her country, and with her, that They are one tough bunch of people. She's not always the easiest person to live with, but it's never boring, thats for sure.
