telluwhat
So will more of the 308 drum be made? I would like one but I have to wait a few months.... bummer
jeffreyC
They have been out of stock before. It may be a while before Brownells gets more, and the manufacturer is out of stock too. But there are other distributors for XS Products and some may still have stock.

jeffreyC
Now taking pre-production orders for 6.8 SPC drums.I might buy one, even though I don't have a 6.81) It would be an act of defiance against the high capacity mag ban people.2) It would make me build a 6.8 (at least it's not a gas tube roll pin)

Robocop1051
I barely have enough money to fill a 20 round mag. I don't like to think about filling a 50 rounder!I might have to buy more 5 round mags just for the satisfaction of having a full mag. <lmao>
telluwhat
Yeah ammo isn't getting any cheaper that's for sure.
planeflyer21
.308s are a pleasure to buy!Compared to my .25-20, which I have only handloaded ammo so far for it. When I bought it ammo was $35 for 50. Went the other day and a box of 50 anemic factory loads were $65!!!Jon

dagamore
I might have to buy more 5 round mags just for the satisfaction of having a full mag. <lmao>I feel your pain, i own a few 5rd mags just so i can use a full mag at the range, the only rage near me i can only have 5 in the mag at once, at least thats the rule have not seen it enforced but why upset the rang when its free. tackleberry2000
I'd like to be the first kid on my block to have one but did that with a 100 rd beta mag for my ar15. If i had an ar308 i planned to use in a static position i'd get a couple but thats not in the works. Would like to know how good they are in case i change my mind though. It would be sweet if there was a giveaway of a few of these for "testing". I am sure it would generate advertising of the product as well as make several people very happy to test them out. I know I would run a many of rounds of 308 out of one if it was given to me.I officially volunteer my time and some ammo for product "testing" and posting a "review" on this site. Now if they are ready for me to begin they can contact me via a pm and we can go from there. ;) <thumbsup>

tackleberry2000
Still on the fence with a fifty. Its gotta be heavy as all heck. Indo like the skelitonized on that raineer has. Would look nice at the range bloing off 25 buck in ammo it holds. Might get one if I catch them in stock to thumb my nose at the anti-gunners some more. Rsquared
I'd get one just to piss off the anti-gunners of the world. But alas, here in the communist state of Maryland, 20 round mags are the limit. Which, by the way, has to make you laugh. As much as I joke about the state, we can still buy just about anything we want. It's just funny that you can buy a belt-fed machine gun, but 20 round mags are the limit. :cookoo:
