unforgiven Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 http://www.ctkprecision.com/monopod.aspx found this all you have to do is attach a sling attachment point then monopod. Was thinking of putting on all my stocks then with bi-pod you got 3 points of contact.
hollywood Posted May 6, 2012 Author Report Posted May 6, 2012 Looks like It would work great for a srandard style stock. The principle is the same, has any one tried either one?
edgecrusher Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 accushot monopod is what i have http://www.accu-shot.com/Accu-Shot-Monopod-Mounting-Options.php

BLKSHEEP Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 <thumbsup> love it, it locks in place well, deploys and locks quick. very well made Ditto <thumbsup>
blue109 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 i want one, but it seems pretty simple for the price tag. cant believe someone hasnt made a cheaper version yet.
moagm316 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 A rear bag for my off hand is all I need and it works for much faster adjustments than a mono pod and does not cost a ton of money. Rear bags have been used for years with great success.

Matt.Cross Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 I use the mono-pod at the range all the time, just as I would if afield.
hollywood Posted May 7, 2012 Author Report Posted May 7, 2012 Guess I am gonna order one myself. Just gonna shop for the best price.
moagm316 Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 The rear bean bag is lighter and more responsive, but the monopod has its situations as well. Get both and learn to use both. You can make a rear bag and buy a monopod.
Robocop1051 Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 That's it! I'm going to invent a picatinny mounted beanbag!! Nobody steal my idea.
Matt.Cross Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 That's it! I'm going to invent a picatinny mounted beanbag!! Nobody steal my idea.Ooh ooh! That gives me an idea for a non-lethal shotgun round that disperses force across several semi-soft pellets in a small sack. I'll call it a "beanbag round" and I bet police teams and such will love it! You're a genius!
hollywood Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 Bought it, very well made and quite stable for one having about a nickel sized contact area. 8)
Jgun Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Hollywood, is the one pictured in your post an accushot?
