Matt.Cross Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 ... and it is NICE! ;DNow, I know what you're thinking... "Yeah right, he knows what I'm thinking, sure... HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!!"... More importantly, I know what you were thinking BEFORE THAT, you thought "There is no way he's seen the future". Well, I have pictures because I knew that you probably wouldn't believe me. Check it out:[img width=810 height=607]http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc158/jm_cross/12thmod3.jpg[img width=810 height=607]http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc158/jm_cross/12thmod2.jpg[img width=810 height=607]http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc158/jm_cross/12thmod1.jpgCan't wait to run some rounds through this baby!
edgecrusher Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 8) , i'm green, but not the lantern, drew... very nice. oh mass..... :'(
Matt.Cross Posted May 9, 2012 Author Report Posted May 9, 2012 I'm going to have to sell some stuff to fund my barrel's trip to ADCO. I sure hope it takes a while for my neighbors to notice that their stuff is missing. <laughs> Hehe... just kidding of course... hehe.... ;D >:D
Matt.Cross Posted May 9, 2012 Author Report Posted May 9, 2012 For ~$250 and shipping I get my Fulton Armory barrel back from ADCO with another threaded brake, ready to mount my suppressor. Methinks this will be happening soon... ;D
george_995 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 I want a suppressor sooo badly http://www.advanced-armament.com/product.aspx?pid=957#pid=865. Very nice.
Matt.Cross Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 I want a suppressor sooo badly http://www.advanced-armament.com/product.aspx?pid=957#pid=865. Very nice.Go for it! The wait is annoying as all get out but once it's in your hands you'll never turn back.
Matt.Cross Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 Update: As of June 4th, my suppressor's status is "pending approval". The guy said I could expect to get it about December. So far so good!
98Z5V Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 You're missing a critical piece of that suppressor system, unless it was stuck inside the suppressor. There's more to the 12th than what you pictured.
Matt.Cross Posted June 20, 2012 Author Report Posted June 20, 2012 The collar is what I'm assuming you're referring to, the primary host barrel will have the taper built in, and the second barrel will be set up by ADCO. You are definitely right about them not sending the collar though, I have yet to contact Ops Inc about it though because hard times have set back the project for a bit.
Matt.Cross Posted June 21, 2012 Author Report Posted June 21, 2012 That's unfortunate. It sucks for sure, but I'm starting to get back on my feet. Hopefully I'll have some more pics and video shooting with my new suppressor here pretty soon.
Matt.Cross Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Posted November 9, 2012 UPDATE!!!I got a call from my NFA dealer today, letting me know that my Tax Stamp arrived yesterday. My suppressor is now OFFICIALLY mine, and I can't wait to get that sucker mounted up and putting rounds downrange. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I've spent the whole day giggling maniacally... <laughs>I have determined that there will not only be pics, but video posted when I get this baby put on. Keep your eyes peeled! ;D

Matt.Cross Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 How long did it take from start to finish brother. <dontknow>I purchased it late in February, my check cashed in March, approval went through on April 5th, and I got my tax stamp November 8th. A little beyond 8 months total.
Matt.Cross Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012 Haven't gotten my tapered collar from Ops Inc yet, but we're working on it. In the mean time, I went and picked up my suppressor from the dealer today and have mocked it up on the rifle. Here's the purchase/wait stats:NFA item: Ops Inc 12th .30 cal, via TrustForms Sent: April 25th, 2012 Check cashed: May 2, 2012Pending: June 4, 2012Approved: Nov 5th, 2012Received: November 11, 2012Examiner:Dana PicklesSome pics of the mounted suppressor, minus taper collar:One or two more minor details, and then there will be pics and video of rounds going downrange!!
