Not too long ago I picked up a Champion bipod, it is a less expensive copy of a Harris, with swivel and locking lever already installed.

Well reasonably priced and light weight the nod could possibly go to the old stand by Harris. GG&G makes a nice QD adapter for it. Although with the adapter you are probably approaching the GG&G XDS prices. I use the heavy duty XDS on my .308's, the standard XDS's on my AR15's because BOBRO's are unavailable.

I run a versa pod with the free float adapter. Fits like a glove.

I had a Versa-pod like Hollywood's on my rifle.  I later switched to a Harris for some (just a little) weight savings.  Although I do believe the Versa-pod makes it easier to get good hits and tight groups, I do like the Harris for it's smaller size and more compact shape when folded.

The good thing about the versa pod is if yoy want the rifle more compact all you have to do is remove it. Fast and easy loosen the "cant" tension knob and push the release button, put it in your pack and go. I have two one for prone or bench and one for sitting. Great product.

they do look very nice but alil pricey and there is a notice on there page no public sales as of about a year ago to fill contract orders.....

Got a Blackhawk Sportster 9" - 13" swivel bi-pod at WallyWorld for $45.  Seems very well built, not much different than a Harris.  I am very pleased with it.
